OK this really doesn’t have much to do with cable news, other than I saw the presser on cable, but was anyone else surprised by how the Fed’s kept congratulating themselves and others on a job well done on the Brooke Bennet murder case?
A job well done? The powers that be have let ANOTHER sex offender rape and possibly murder yet another child. This Breckenridge sex ring has been going on for YEARS and they are patting themselves on the back? A job well done? What are you smoking????
VT needs to get their act together. They have touted over and over again how their rehabilitation progam of sex offenders works. Yep, just give them a hug, tell them they matter, and send them out to offend again.
I can’t wait to hear what O’reilly will undoubtably have to say tonight. I only hope that this outrages the citizens of VT enough to do something about their govt’s stupidity.
jerziegrl, yes this is definitely a cable news story. As you note, O’Reilly will be heavily involved since he’s been railing on VT for months about their leniency toward sex offenders. And look what happened to this poor little girl!
But I think he’s on vacation this week, so we may have to wait to hear what his take is on this. I’m sure he’ll be furious and will go after those Vermonters big time.
Hi Jerziegrl,
Yeah, I saw that press conference. That’s a good point. I heard a child abuse advocate, Wendy Murphy, Esq., talking about the problems in Vermont earlier on FNC.
I was impressed with Mollie Line, the Fox correspondent on the scene all week. These kind of stories must be very difficult to cover with such a sad ending, time an time again.
Flipping around the channels this week, I found myself tuning in to several segments of Morning Joe. I know many disagree, but I truly think Mika has done a good job the last few days as the primary host. Pat B. and John Ridley were co-hosts with Mika today. My favorite segment of the week was Tuesday when Jack Welch was on the set. However, I also caught some nice segments on Fox and Friends and American Morning. A couple of days ago, F&F had a concert with THe Smitherines.
Does anyone remember the early days of MSNBC when there was a programs hosted by Mika, Ashley Banfield and Monica Novatna (sp?)?
IMO, Amy Robach, former MSNBC anchor, is doing a great job reporting for Today. Yesterday, Amy was covering the wayward dolphins in New Jersey. Today, she’s been covering the Christie Brinkley divorce case. FNC’S Jill Dobson is at the courtroon with Amy doing FNC live shots from the courthouse.
I’ve also enjoyed Eric Shawn this week filing in for Bill Hemmer.
ERICIA HILL: IMO, Ms. Hill made good move by joining AC 360.
VERONICA DE LA CRUZ: She was excellent this week working along side Don Lemon.
“““I WAS IMPRESSED BY MOST OF THE CABLE TV SUBSITUTES WORKING THIS WEEK:
GREG GARRET: He appears to have improved significantly the past few years. He’s a solid FNC fill-in, working 2 hours per day this week with Megyn Kelly. Today, he also hosted Studio B with Shep on vaction. I thought Jamie Colby has also been strong. IMO, this evening, she did a fine job filling in for Greta “On the Record.”
I always thought Greg Jarrett was OK, but when watching him today, I wondered why they don’t give him a permanent slot somewhere. I feel bad for the guy, just being a “fill in” all the time (unless he’s got a job elsewhere). Let him do the Fox Report on weekends or something!
Also, I just saw Jamie C. for a split second today filling in for Greta. She looked like an entirely different person, like Molly Henneberg, IMO! Talk about a makeover!

Here’s something worth talking about:
TV viewers’ average age hits 50
Study: Median age outside the 18-49 demo

I would like to know what religion this pedophile subscribes to? These freaks make me sick and should receive the death penalty in a public square.

Greg Jarrett is good. Serious but can also be funny. He also hosts the weekend show with Julie Banderas.

Who needs Hemmer?
