Oh, Jon Scott slipped up!
He said, “We sent Courtney Friel on the perfect assignment,
the loony bin.”
i almost fell out of my desk chair.
He has her pegged. Hillarious!!
O’Reilly often refers to NBC News as being “dishonest”. Morning Joe (w/o Joe, once again) really lived up to this description this morning, as they discussed the blow-up on the View, w/little Elizabeth sitting their crying.
They totally distorted what had happened. To be clear, I would NEVER watch that show, but I saw video on Fox yesterday, and that horrific Whoppi Goldberg had a tirage of using the “n” word. She must have said it 50 times; the whole segment was just her being bleeped out as she spoke. THEN there was conversation, and Elizabeth putting forth her view, and then she began crying.
But MSNBC didn’t show Whoppi’s tirade AT ALL!!!!! They just showed Elizabeth’s comments and then her tearing up, as if she’s some sort of unstable waif. I think anyone would have been on edge after hearing someone speak as Goldberg had just done, and for MSNBC to leave that out of the segment is just unconscionable.
Also, since Neil Cavuto won’t be back for a few more weeks, they ought to simulcast FBN. I think that would be a great idea, no? Or are there to many restrictions or simulcasting?
Corny & Missy: Filling in for Cavuto, Cheryl Casone was really awful today. Similar to Dabid Asman last week, she was unusually argumentative with some guests, especially the Democratic Congressman from New Jersey who wants to tap the strategic petroleum reserve.
I also enjoyed McShane and would like to see more of him on FNC.

Dan Rather mixed up Obama/Osama on Mourning Joe. It was funny because no one corrected it.
Also, don’t you love how the View gets on cable news so much. Did any one else find the coverage of the view Whoopi/Elizabeth thing a bit odd?
Also, It looks like Dan Abrams’ show is not on tonight.

Speaking of Cavuto, I sure hope he’s OK.
And I liked that Colin McGraw or whatever his name was who was sitting in for Neil this week. Apparently he is from FBN.

Missy, his name is Connel McShane (not sure if my spelling is correct). He is very good.

So it looks like MSNBC has canned Verdict w/ Dan Abrams and the Countdown 10PM re-air on Friday nights, to show “Caught on Camera”. Why is this?

Johnny Dollar,
Thanks for posting this funny clip. I hope people enjoy it.
And crp2008, why, indeed? I guess because it is MSNBC.
