Well, how about the media reaction to Obama’s trip? It now seems like less of an open secret that most people in the mainsteam press are, in fact, more favorable toward Obama.
It also seems to have united people on the other side. McCain’s new Frankie Valli commercial is a funny attempt to exploit this, although I don’t think it will do much.
The print media is almost all positive with Obama coverage. Sometimes the talking heads inside the beltway only look at the papers in DC, NYC, & LA. They think based on those papers that newspapers elsewhere are balanced in the election coverage. The thousands of other msm papers across the USA are pro Obama. Most people only get their news from their local papers and a look at these fauning anchors following the Obama world tour.
Give me a break. You Righties expect the press to try so hard to avoid any accusation of bias that they turn a blind eye to news. It’s embarrassing.
This country is in the toilet domestically and internationally, and even many Republicans have abandoned the messianic lunatic in the White House. Barack Obama, the first viable African-American presidential candidate in American history, is generating an unheard level of excitement for a presidential candidacy, and huge bucket-fulls of goodwill internationally. Do really expect the press to not appreciate the news value in that? It would be irresponsible not to report it.
Giving a campaign speech at a site most Germans equate with Hitler?
Telling Israel & the rest of the world that Iran doesn’t pose a serious threat because it’s a “tiny country”?
Here’s a winner from this week, at a press conference in Amman, Jordan…. “”Well let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s,”…..
More brilliance in generating “huge buckets-full of goodwill internationally”…..meeting was with Knesset member/Likud Party Chair Benjamin Netanyahu, who asked Obama how he was feeling. “I could fall asleep standing up,” Obama said, according to Bloomberg News’ Tel Aviv correspondent Jonathan Ferziger.
Not to mention the “goodwill” he’s building with the troops & our commanders by saying he still would have opposed the surge, even knowing what he knows now….. which obviously is very little.

What “goodwill” is he generating?
The promise to abandon the Iraqis?
