FBN is trying to get viewers everywhere. One thing I noticed is that if I search Google for Fox Business, I see alot of guests that have appeared on FBN blogging about their appearance. I don’t think I see that when I search CNBC.
That could be another way Fox is trying to get viewers, invite guests on that also have an audience on the web via their blog.
why is it when obama went on his trip he did not Politise those anti war fantatics by showing him with injured troops oh yea fox news that is a great photo op
im happy obama didint go that way why is this such a big deal
Are you kidding me Jason? Since when is going to visit the men and women who were injured fighting this war Polticking? Regardless of your stance on the war, these men and women didn’t choose to go, they signed up to fight if they agreed with the reason or not.
Obama could have gone, but he chose not to. He could have gone with out the fan fare, campaign aides and cameras. He could have made it a private visit, but he chose not to.
That sends a great message to our troops…….I want to visit you as long as everyone can see me doing it. If it is not going to benefit my campaign, sorry….it is not worth it.
omg are you serious? he had the media with him, jesus christ is it that kind of stance anyone who goes over there with a bunch of media talking heads need to use the trioops as a photo op?
it’s people like you jerziegrl who will call anyone anti american if they dont go visit the troops omg he is making the rounds with the media why not be a dickhead and anger more americans and show people back home more injured troops hell
you rather see video of the injured troops then those coffins comming back, why not tell me why the media was told not to show clips of that??
Obama should have visted the wounded troops sans the media and campaign photogs. President Bush vists without the media and is castigated for not making a spectical of the troops & the returning coffins.
Search my previous post and find anywhere where I called him anti-American……waiting…..still waiting…..Can’t find it can you, Jas.
Don’t put words in my mouth Jason! I never ONCE said he was anti-American and I don’t think his not going is anti-American. That has nothing to do with it. What I was simply stating was that it makes him looking like all he cares about is campaigning and what he can do to garner more votes. Next time you decide to “quote” someone….get it right or better yet read their post first.
It makes this all appear that he didn’t go b/c he couldn’t get a photo op. He goes over to all of these foreign countries, for no other reason then to make himself look presidential. All of those who met with Obama were being used, plain and simple. They were being used as campaign tools to convince America that this Jr. Senator is capable of being our next Pres.
As for why they can’t see the coffins……out of freaking respect, Jason. Our soldiers who have died have given their LIVES to fight for something whether they agree with it or not. Just b/c you don’t doesn’t mean you can plaster their dead bodies and flag draped coffins all over the media to futher your moveon.org agenda.
my moveon.org agenda? what give’s you any idea i would be part of that dickheaded website? its disrespect to see soilders in a hospital bed bandaged up etc oh yea that really send’s a nice image of war back home.. come on and think either way
- seeing coffin’s come back
- seeing the men and women in hospital beds
just sends anger back home dont be dence you and your fox news friends want to add more flames to this fire because thats the only way somone is motivated to goto war. so back to my point!
- you want to see injured soilders then show the coffin’s comming back also, this trip was a big pr for obama there was no use in flonting injured troops in it
hell i see that john mcbush is going to use this as a campain ad now that is just sick
“my moveon.org agenda? what give’s you any idea i would be part of that —-headed website?”
Your posts speak for themselves.
“just sends anger back home dont be dence you and your fox news friends want to add more flames to this fire because thats the only way somone is motivated to goto war. so back to my point!”
Yes it does make people here at home angry, but I hope that it also creates a sense of gratitude for the sacrafices the soldiers make for you and me. When I see those men and women sitting in their hospital beds or putting on their prosthetic’s I get tears in my eyes b/c they stood up to fight for something bigger than you, me and them. Whether they wanted to or not. They put all politics aside and did what they needed to do.
I am not sure how this motivates someone to go to war if according to you it just makes people at home angry. Doesn’t that negate the point you are some where trying to make in your post?
“this trip was a big pr for obama there was no use in flonting injured troops in it”…
You are right (gasp!), they shouldn’t be flaunted (aka: flonted), and for the record, I don’t think injured soldiers should be shown on television either. However, they have the choice…the one’s who come back in coffin’s don’t.
But the fact is Obama didn’t go because he couldn’t flaunt them.
jerziegrl before i respond i just want to be clear this is what i love about a website like this we get discussion so just that we are on a term where we can agree to disagree..
but to the point you just said “But the fact is Obama didn’t go because he couldn’t flaunt them”
- there is no point to flaunt them in anyway possbile, that will just like i said anger people back home, john Mcbush will run a attack ad saying that he doesnt support the troops… just remember injured young men and women should never be used as photo op never ever.. senator or even president
- 5 more years or more?? come on they hung saddam find bin laden
- and yes i do get upset when i see those injuried troops but when will the usa let these countries stick up for themselfs? the more the usa stays the longer the army of iraq and whever else will kick back drink those arabic brewskis and let the americans do the dirty work
do you atleast agree with this point ms jerziegrl?
- and also i dont affilate myself with any right or left wing websites i think for myself i dont need some bloggers tellng me how to think im sure your the exact way some of us take our heads out of a**es once and awhile right?

Alexis Glick on IMUS.
I guess FBN is one of the sponsors since IMUS does a Fox Business News report.

Jason, I’ll say it again. Learn to use punctuation & somewhat coherent English, or stick to the blueblogs.
Obama’s campaign cancelled the visit with the soldiers BECAUSE THE MEDIA WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED IN THE HOSPITAL.
Obama wanted a photo op. The longstanding rules do not allow politicization of our soldiers in that way.
That’s why the trip was cancelled. Because there was nothing in it for him.
