Appearances can be Deceiving?

Gawker strays into territory which has been kibitzed upon by NBC insiders (and not just at the grunt level either, despite Gawker’s claims) for over a year now. Which makes the timing of this story interesting since it’s been out there for so darn long. What prodded Gawker to act on it now?

  1. Wow, that’s kinda creepy. Morning Joe airs too early for me on the West Coast, so I don’t see it. Dude just had a baby. I hope they know what they’re doing.

  2. You could say the same thing (affair) about Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly. Except in both cases the rumors are not true.

Scarborough interrupts Mika constantly, and is quite condescending to her. I’ve even heard him tell her that the program is called “Morning Joe”; in other words, “Mika, your opininon doesn’t count!”

I highly doubt they have an off-screen relationship (however, I’ve certainly been wrong before).

  4. I don’t think it is true.
But these two will play it to the hilt if they think it will get them
    ratings.
They are all on two week vacations now, however, so we won’t be able to watch the sideshow!

  5. The implication isn’t that they’re HAVING an affair, it’s that they’re teasing their way to one. Not at all uncommon in the office, where sometimes you’re more intimately connected with someone for longer periods of time than you are at home with your spouse.

  6. No. That’s not the implication. If it were it would have been phrased differently. Gawker could have made it’s point without referencing the scuttlebutt at 30 Rock. That they did is noteworthy. All the blogs have been hearing the stories for a while now.
