My apologies; I did not mean to copy you virtually verbatim!

Rather than full retreat, Hannity used the term meltdown to describe the Obama campaign and he repeated meltdown today on radio.

John Finley’s figleaf excuse that Hannity’s America is an opinion show raises serious questions about FNC thinks is appropriate for its air. If MSNBC were to air a Keith Olbermann special on John McCain, the red blogs would be up in arms and it would be the talking point of every RNC operative in America. Why does Hannity get a pass?

How is this program, any different than say Olbermann’s daily program (or to a degree, Maddow’s program)? Both are highly biased, and (allegedly, according to this article) contain no balancing view point. The only difference between this program, and a Countdown, is that this show specifically focused on only Obama… while Olbermann’s program only MOSTLY focuses on McCain.

Now, is this a case of excusing bad behavior with more bad behavior? Well, a little I suppose… but somehow, a weekly one hour show, by a known pundit, presented as opinion, is just a little more acceptable than a daily show, by a guy who still insists he’s non-partisan (as do his bosses), presented as a news program.

As for the Greta connection… that doesn’t hold water for me. When Obama was interviewed by O’Reilly, Barrack said that he know O’Reilly was fair… even though others at the network aren’t. Should the WHOLE network get attacked just because of Hannity? Apparently Obama recognizes that each program is its own entity, so this program should have no impact on his decision to speak with Greta or not.

Let us also not forget, if that’s the standard… then the McCain-Palin ticket would be well within their rights to avoid all NBC/MSNBC interviews in the foreseeable future.

Your comparison is apples & oranges.

Because no one would watch Colmes for an hour. It would be a $$$$ loser.

And I also notice that Hannity is increasingly constantly interrupting during the Colmes segments on H&C.

franklyn & Spud: Still, if you take Hannity out of the mix, the alleged bias at Fox is certainly not as pronouced as MSNBC. O’Reilly was very fair to Obama in the recent interview and ditto Greta with Bill Clinton. Obama has nothing to lose by appearing “On The Record.”

And why IS he so closely associated with Bill Ayers? That “I was eight years old when he bombed the Pentagon” line is a non-starter now that we know how close Obama aligned himself with Ayers over the years. And that’s based on a report I just heard, done by Drew Griffin of CNN!!!!!

Why aren’t the rest of the media telling us about this? My God, this clown has been running for POTUS for two years now and we’re just finding this out, on cable news? The MSM has it’s head so far up you know what that it hasn’t deemed this important?

Second, so Hannity gets one hour a week on Fox to promote his conservative agenda. THANK GOD!

Yet those who are critical of his Obamabash have been silent over every comedian who attacks only McCain/Palin, and every MSM program or media outlet who has given a pass to Obama during interviews and other programming, while attacking McCain/Palin on everything! Why no outrage over MSNBC, and more specifically, Olbermann and Matthews?

And Greta Van Susteren wonders why Obama may not be inclined to appear on her program? It’s because of stuff like this.

Both of these networks need to stop accusing one other for being in the tank because both of them ARE in the tank for their respective political parties.
