FNC tidbits…
ICN has heard a series of rumors regarding FNC the past couple of weeks. So I’ve strung them all together in one post…
- The new 9pm show “Hannity” will be moving to Studio E which used to do The Fox Report with Shepard Smith.
- Expect The O’Reilly Factor set to get a long overdue facelift as well.
- Studio D’s control room will be getting an upgrade. I would imagine it’s an HD upgrade. This makes sense because I’m hearing FNC is really pushing HD now. This is a big threat to CNN because the network’s D.C. and Atlanta operations, where more than half of its programming originates, are still broadcasting in upconverted SD even though CNN went HD long before FNC did. Despite all the Jonathan Klein talk about the money CNN has at its disposal, if CNN stays the course, FNC will be out HD-ing CNN pretty soon…
Correction: The third item referred to Studio D getting an upgrade. That’s incorrect. It’s Studio D’s control room that will get the upgrade…

That leaves the huge Studio J without a show. So what might be going there…?

Hopefully they might convert J into a studio for dayside news, they need a nice big newsroom.

The “Fox Report” moved to Studio J on Wednesday.
What’s Studio D? I know “The Factor,” “America’s Newsroom,” and “Red Eye” are in Studio A.

Fox Report is now in H. J is the other big new one.
D is where Mike & Juliet, Your World, and H&C are.
