Not Hot, The lack of media outrage regarding the non payment of taxes by Democrats Geithner and now Daschle. They broke the laws and get the following typical reporting in the MSM. “This is a bump in the road and is unlikely to hold up confirmation” (judge and jury in action) There is a lack of morality in the press. That morality promotes a double standard, if you’re a Democrat, it’s just an honest mistake, and if you’re a Republican it’s a culture of corruption worthy of tremendous outrage and full prosecution.
If you have not noticed the virtual crime wave going on in the Democratic Party, the following Democrats have all allegedly broken the law, Dem. Sen. Chris Dodd, Dem. Congressman Charlie Rangel, Dem. Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Dem. Treasury sec. Tim Geithner, Dem. Hew Sec. Nominee Tom Daschle, Dem Mayor of Detroit, Dem Mayor of Hartford, and Dem. Mayor of Baltimore. In the few reports you see, you have to play name that party! When that foot tapper Larry Craig (R) had his problem the first two words in every story was Republican Sen. The double standard is absurd and points to a lack of morality and integrity in our worthless media.
Terrance, the question is, did she pay for this herself or did our social welfare state encourage this behavior by picking up the tab. Like the laws of gravity certain facts are undeniable, one of those great truths in economics is if you subsidize something you get more of that something, if you tax something you get less of that something.
HOT: Discussing Rush Limbaugh. Dems use him as attack targets, and every cable show decides to take up the rally cry, using out of context statements. The media never lets the truth get in the way of a good story, and this is a prime example. Look at the ridiculous amount of coverage this week.
L&J – I have no idea whether “we” picked up the tab for her In vitro. But, how many single mothers living with their parents (w/six kids) don’t get welfare?
This woman needs to be locked up in the loony bin.. And the doctor needs to be sent to a Supermax facility.
NOT HOT, But Not Surprising. WH. Chief of staff Rahm Emanuel doing a DAILY 6 AM conference call with liberal MSM stars Stephanopoulos, Carville and Begala. I suppose they talk about their families and not the spin and propaganda message of the day. Pravda’s mouthpiece for the government was not this close and well connected. The individuals and the organizations, ABC news and CNN are not even embarrassed by this collusion. How can anyone trust what these people put on the air?
Terrance, I don’t really care how many children she has, that’s her business and her liberty. However, I do care if some government organization paid for it. That’s insane! If the government did pay for it, we will never hear the facts in the MSM because it‘s contrary to the mantra that government must take care of everyone and that everything must be free. It’s a responsibility free society.
Not Hot; The 800 Billion pork barrel no stimulus plan essentially repeals “welfare reform” by removing limits, restrictions and time tables on welfare aid to families. Here we go again, back to the days of subsidizing/encouraging /paying generation after generation to the horrible life of living on welfare and of course voting Democratic. The rot is starting to set in again.
Oh yeah, L&J. Its the big bad MSM’s fault. (The same ones who reported this story in the first place.)

Hey, maybe if BO or Hannity stop wasting time talking about crap they could fit this into their schedule. Personally, I don’t think either of them has the courage to verbally attack this woman for being unwed.. or for freeloading.
Terrance, Some people cant count, go back to BR posts that document the number of Liberal vs. Conservative news outlets. I think it’s at least 10 to 1 liberal. Just listen to the 3 evening broadcast news shows and tell me where you hear any balance or anything negative about the Democrats or Obama? They are cheerleaders for the DNC! I agree that FNC is conservative on the pundit shows but its straight news is straight news. I think that is part of the reason they are #1 but one channel does not make a mainstream.
Again, I don’t think we should attack the women. I think the system that pays for this is insane and that system is supported by misguided liberals (unintended consequences)
It’s the fault of the woman, for taking advantage of the taxpayers of California, and also the fault of our states, who may not overtly support these women, but do so via welfare payments to their many children.
And it’s the fault of the woman’s mother, who knew her daughter was obsessed with having children. Stories I read indicate that SHE is fed up and will not be there for the daughter when she and the kids come home from the hospital. That’s nice, because the taxpayers of California will have to “be there” for her for the next 18 years.
This story is just deplorable, especially since California (and the rest of our country) is in such dire economic condition. How much has it ALREADY cost the taxpayers – these future children were receiving pre-natal treatment since the ditz was three months pregnant. And they’ll continue to need taxpayer-funded treatment until the age of 18. With 46 medical personnel on hand at their birth, I’m sure the medical cost is in the tens of millions already.
God only knows about her citizenship. Sounds like she’s either Iraqi or Mexican, and if so, shame on her for taking advantage of our country’s resources. And if she’s a U.S. citizen, shame on her even more, for abusing her own country’s largesse in this way.
There is one bright spot to the story, however. This airhead was pursuing a master’s degree in counseling! How on earth could someone of her poor judgment possibly advise anyone else on ANYTHING? At least these 14 kids will hopefully occupy her time so that she will not have time to give poor counsel to anyone else.
Sorry if I sound mean, but I fear her irresponsible actions will give others an idea as to how to cash in on mega welfare payments for the next 18 years. Seriously.
And to tie this to cable news, let’s see how it is handled now that more is out about the circumstances.
L&J – All the nets were pounding Obama about Wright & Ayers. (For what seemed like months on end.) Maybe most of them did give him a “free pass” compared to McCain and Hillary otherwise. However, you can’t discount the boatload of negative attention he received for these two stooges. (Whether or not you agree the “connection/friendship/whatever” was in bad judgment.)
In other words, its almost as if you and the other haters completely suspended your “intake capabilities” during this time frame!
Really though, I would like Obama and his lackeys held to the same scrutiny as past republican administrations. Oh wait. Does that mean we’ll be going to war on more phony intelligence?
Finally, I sure hope the same press that let Bush get away with all that crap doesn’t do the same thing with Obama. However, I am willing to give the man a chance to prove himself.

Well O’Reilly did do a segment on this bizarre situation. Of course if you don’t watch, then you can make any claims you like about what O’Reilly does or doesn’t cover. Facts do tend to put limits on argumentation, but are generally considered preferable for informed opinions.

Yes, of course, sometimes the media reports the conservative POV and unflattering facts regarding Democrats but you even concede it’s not equal unbiased and transparent. I believe that the country is better served by reporting both sides of all issues with a kind of “equal justice under the law”. What’s not to agree with? What hate?

Yes, it’s still relatively early. But those are some monster numbers for a 5pm slot on any cable net. Nothing has gotten those numbers at 5pm for… well, have they ever? Like him or not, he’s producing big #’s early on. But it’d be nice to see him vary his guests a little bit. Malkin’s been on more than a few times already. She’s a bit much for my tastes. But Beck is pretty good as an entertainer/host.

There is just something, well, surreal about somebody who didn’t see a broadcast and has zero idea of what was on it, nonetheless criticizing it, and then demanding “proof” from those who DID see it! That has sort of an Alice in Wonderland quality to it, no? I beg to differ, If the Republican screw up lke they did on spending, I’m for calling them out on it.
Media bias is a Big Big problem, lots of proof and that’s a topic for this blog.
