Hot: Trend toward sugar in sweetened beverages. Don’t care about corn syrup health-wise, sugar just tastes better. Currently only find it it more expensive niche and Mexican brands. It can be consumed whilst watching cable news, if anyone wonders.
HOT: Santelli’s rant on CNBC and the suggestions of a Chicago Tea Party
NOT: The blue blogs running with an obviously fake video to make FNC look racist.
NOT: The total lack of coverage of two very significant things: Obama’s administration investigation finds Gitmo is totally in compliance of Geneva standards…..and Afghan detainees at Bagram have no constitutional rights. I guess Barack’s a war criminal just like Bush….right joeremi?
I have no argument with reasonable war-time detention practices. When Obama starts BSing about mushroom clouds and invading the wrong country…I’ll have a problem.
Art, it comes from part of that vast right wing conspiracy, the Washington Post.
First two paragraphs:
“A Pentagon review of conditions at the Guantanamo Bay military prison has concluded that the treatment of detainees meets the requirements of the Geneva Conventions but that prisoners in the highest-security camps should be allowed more religious and social interaction, according to a government official who has read the 85-page document.
The report, which President Obama ordered, was prepared by Adm. Patrick M. Walsh, the vice chief of naval operations, and has been delivered to the White House. Obama requested the review as part of an executive order on the planned closure of the prison at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, on the southeastern tip of Cuba.”
NOT HOT: Jaimie Colby’s newscast
NOT HOT: Geraldo’s interviews last night of the Mother of the missing girl. He ambushed the father and basically did the work the cops should do. Some things need to be kept from the public while investigation is going on. Agree? Disagree?
NOT HOT: Rick Sanchez. Self-explanatory.
HOT: John Ashcroft now looks like a clairvoyant with this little quote: ““How will he be different? The main difference is going to be that he spells his name ‘O-b-a-m-a,’ not ‘B-u-s-h.’”
