Easiest pick so far…..almost an affront to Brian, by mentioning CB and him in the same post, let alone a head-to-head competition. By the widest margin possible….Brian Williams!!!
Why do you call it MSNBC’s? He is NBC’s. It is clearly NBC’s Brian Williams’. He is the highest rated anchor in the nation?
Williams got his big anchor break starting with MSNBC in 98. He anchored the Iraq War coverage for MSNBC from Kuwait. He still will anchor on the network and make appearances on occasion (he should be doing more in my opinion). So I think his inclusion is justified.
i agree witht he first guy. i really like CB on today show, etc, but she is a total tool now. its really sad.
williams is a little overrated, though. maybe the worst network anchor.
i dont see CB turning her career around, she is older, “with child” again, and not getting younger. i expect cnn to can her at some point with a damaged career at best. she married a republican and hopefully he makes some money.
I agree with the person that agreed with me. Williams is kinda cool and kinda funny, but not as good at anchoring as Couric or Gibson. He’s got a weird over-emphasis way of talking that makes me crazy. If you’re in the Bay Area, you’ll remember Channel 2′s Leslie Griffith. She used to do it all the time. It’s the “this is really important” voice, except used all the time for everything.

Way too easy. I haven’t seen such a universally despised anchor since Dan Rather. Wasn’t CB kinda popular before she got to CNN? Hope she enjoyed it.
Williams.

Brian works for NBC, but I still vote for him (Williams).
