Glenn Beck Interview
The San Antonio Express News’ Jeanne Jakle interviews Glenn Beck…
On those who call him a “fear-monger,” particularly when he presented his series “The War Room,” which made scary predictions about the future of America. (Stephen Colbert spoofed it as “The Doom Bunker.”): “People need to get out of the mode that it couldn’t happen here, that our economy would never collapse, that civil unrest would never happen. … Wouldn’t it be better if we were prepared for any crisis?”
The one TV show he watches religiously? No, not “The O’Reilly Factor” or, heaven forbid, “The Daily Show.”
“I never miss ‘The Office,”’ he said. “And I’ll tell you why. When I married my wife, I used to make her laugh, but she doesn’t find me funny anymore. … Because I love to hear her laugh, I watch ‘The Office’ with her. … she laughs hard and loud.”

Now would be a good time for the FNC affiliated complainers to ramp it up against the onslaught of BECK articles!
I mean, how can you complain about other networks hosts but turn a blind eye to this hype machine?

Let’s break this nutjob’s comments down:
“People need to get out of the mode that it couldn’t happen here, that our economy would never collapse, that civil unrest would never happen. Wouldn’t it be better if we were prepared for any crisis?” = Buy guns, get your bunker ready. The end may be near.
I’m sorry, but anybody that listens to this idiot needs to get their head checked.

There does seem to be an onslaught of hype for Glenn Beck.
The difference between this & Maddow is, the Maddow hype continues to this day, though the ratings success doesn’t.

Anyone else here old enough to remember fallout shelters?

BigRed, isn’t RM successful at 9pm compared to past shows that occupied that slot?
Plus, Maddow’s coverage is more than her ratings. She happens to be a woman and represents an alternative lifestyle. So, of course she’s going to get extra articles.
Have you ever stopped to think its the network? I mean, Beck wasn’t getting these type of ratings on HLN. And his show is eerie similar to what he put on over there.
With that in mind, I’m not saying Beck doesn’t deserve the hype. But, I just ask for the same whiners to complain about the saturation of his “media coverage” the same they do with everyone not working at FNC.
