What’s Hot/What’s Not: 04/19/09

What’s Hot:

Tea Parties – They dominated the news this week, for better and for worse…

Taking a stand – Nice of Joe Scarborough to note that all the teabag talk shouldn’t have happened.

Palau – Palau is hot. Average temperature 90 degrees. Average water temperature 82 degrees. Average humidity 80%. Hot…

What’s Not:

Susan Roesgen – Grace under pressure? How about a meltdown?

Teabaggery – It was childish and shouldn’t have been part of any news network.

Tobin Smith – Way to go, taking a moment to work your network into a Tea Party speech…

  1. The MSM is completely out of step with the people who actually watch “Cable News”

  2. The MSM long ago gave up competing for cable news viewers. Their audience is more likely to consist of big city dwellers than rural or even suburban areas, and so they know those who do watch are more likely than not to be slightly left of centre, and so that’s the audience they cater to.

They’re fine with being out-of-step with cable news viewers.

WTF? Big city dwellers are NOT cable news viewers? Then how can they watch cable news?
