Olbermann Responds to Dobbs…
And throws in jabs at FNC too. Meanwhile O’Reilly went after GE and Immelt. I had a choice, watch Countdown and see Olbermann go after Dobbs again or watch The Factor and see whether O’Reilly would say anything knowing he hadn’t so far. So I chose Countdown. I’ll have to watch the Factor replay at 11pm.

Classy, attacking the wife. Real peach, that one. Wonder if the story’s actually true, since they so seldom are. She probably could take him out, unarmed.

Sigh. At the risk of being caught agreeing with Laural again, when everybody knows I worship the conservative ground she walks on, the wife thing was out of hand.
I bristled at the mention of “Hispanic wife and daughters” last night, but I DID find that fact newsworthy. You’ve gotta admit a white guy whose sole claim to fame is his anti-immigration stance is not the person you picture married to an Hispanic.
But now it’s set Dobbs off to defend his wife and this sets KO up for some story about a gun on a plane 6 years ago and…yeah…should have left the family out of it.
More KO/BOR/Dobbs, less families.

More rulers, less….something.

More rulers, less…something.
Nope, can’t top that one, either. Doh!

Olbermann’s voice for Dobbs sounds curiously like Peter Seller’s Dr. Strangelove.
August 5, 2009 at 7:25 pm
More like Yoda, it sounds.

laural1…roflmao again…I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy

You betcha.
Oh man.

It’s like a dog whistle, isn’t it?

Joremi, Lou Dobbs is NOT ANT-IMMIGRATION. He’s “ANTI ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION”. You know the ones who come into this country “ILLEGALLY”, breaking our laws.
August 5, 2009 at 7:40 pm
Joe, Dobbs has no “anti-immigration stance”. He is against people entering our country ILLEGALLY!
These illegals broke the law coming over here, and should be treated as any other criminal. Yet the dems pander to that group, hoping that bestowing benefits on them and granting them citizenship will secure the dems votes for eternity.
People who DO come here legally must wait their turn in line, be sponsored or qualified in some way and must pass citizenship tests most of us could never pass. Yet illegals feel free to invade our country, trampling all over those in far away lands who wait their turn to get here. It is NOT fair, and many of us applaud Dobbs for his stand on this subject.
August 5, 2009 at 7:55 pm
I don’t have a fit. I know it’s anti-illegal, and I generally agree with him. It’s still a little unusual to have such a loud voice on the issue come from a man married to an Hispanic. Out here in Calif., the Hispanic community considers Dobbs anti-Hispanic because his views are so vociferous.
Before you start wailing on me about pro- or anti-illegal immigration, realize that I’m analyzing here. Dobbs, a white guy with a loud anti-illegal-immigration stance that leads many Hispanics to think he is against them , is married to an Hispanic. It surprised me, and no doubt many of them.
For the record, My problem with Dobbs is his one-note show and his pompous delivery. Dude just gets on my nerves.

That’s “Oh don’t have a fit.”

^
Popmus delivery? Kinda like what Keith Olbermann does every night…
August 5, 2009 at 8:45 pm
Ko’s pompous bugs me some, Dobbs’ version makes me wanna scratch my eyes out. I didn’t even like him as a straight business guy. He has that “I know more than you” attitude that I detest.

There’s very little difference between Dobbs, O’Reilly and Olbermann: pompous air-bags one and all.
