Y’know that internal switch we have in our heads that tells us, ‘Wait, you don’t want to say that’? Folks on cable news apparently have that surgically removed.
“I’m sorry. I would now like to apologize for that last unfortunate apology. Sorry for that, too. Once again, I’m really sorry for calling Hillary a b….”
He simply referred to her being called a bitch (which many women are in fact called) when she acts strong.
Yes, I think we know how he was (indirectly) using the word. But it’s important to remember that he’s not at a party or informal gathering. He’s on MSNBC, not MTV (although it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference; teabagging anyone?).
He’s co-anchoring the news desk at a major cable news network. Part of a multi-billion dollar company.
Remember in Public Speaking 101 about how you should tailor your speech to your audience? E.g., time-and-place.
It seems to me that this wasn’t the time or the place for the repeated use of the word.
CC, don’t let Red get to you. He knows Dylan didn’t call her a wow-that’s-an-ugly-word. The target was just too easy to resist. Dylan Ratigan is an idiot.
Hey Red, I’ll throw you a bone. I was watching KO on WPitW last night. I sat there staring at the screen and said, “Keith Olbermann is an idiot.” You can start your happy dance now.
It’s a cable news programme, not a broadcast one, and his first use of the word with appropriate vocal inflection wasn’t too crude or insulting to anybody. He should have quit there because it was the follow-up uses that crossed the line.
Speaking of ‘WPitW ‘, is it a matter of if, or what the ranking will be? Cause, goodness knows KO hasn’t said anything comparably offensive about Hillary…
Dude, KO’s always been an idiot, just one I agree with more. Beck, Hannity and BOR are idiots, too. BOR a little less. And KO’s gotten worse. I used to think he would keep this job. Not so sure now.

‘I apologie for using that b-word.’
There, is that so difficult to say?

‘I apologie’
Apologize that is.
My work laptop is just about ready to keel over. Keyboard is shot.

Nothing like a big, bold, offensive apology, is there?

Hillary’s a bi***, Chelsea’s a prostitute, Bill’s a racist.
MSNBC sure does like the Clinton family.

I don’t see a problem with it, but I guess being a younger male might have something to do with it.

Joe, it’s nice to see you finally came around, but did it really take that long to figure out that KO is an idiot???
