NOT HOT: LEVI JOHNSTON …. when this guy does his photo shoot for Playgirl I home someone guts off his penis. Even if EVERYTHING he is saying about Sarah Palin and her family is true (which it’s not) he is an absolute scumbag for airing the private matters of the Palin family in public. BRISTOL …. you did the right thing is dumping this piece of trash. Too bad you did not see his true colors sooner.
Hey “unclearthur” and “Al” …. kind of harsh since I corrected my typo within 3 minutes (see the third entry). I “hope” your comments mean you both agree with me.
biznews, I agree! And LJ needs to be quartered, tarred and feathered!
But the #1 hottest thing in cable news, WITHOUT QUESTION, is Cavuto’s Speed Reader! The guy has been on twice so far!
What could be more hot than “Mr. Reader” himself, Howard Berg, reading the new socialized medicine plan, all within an hour on TV?
And if for SOME reason Mr. Berg doesn’t grab your attention, what about Glenn Beck and his hotline from the White House? What could be cooler than that – Beck having a guy sit there, waiting for the phone to ring, so that the White House can complain to Beck immediately for his “lies” against the administration? It’s amazing, however, that Mrs. Dunn has yet to call! What’s up with that?
For those of you in Rio Linda, I should have reminded you that the socialized health care bill was almost 2,000 pages, many of which contained charts and graphs! And Mr. Berg read it all, and interpreted it, within an hour.
HOT: That sound you heard was not balloon boy hitting earth it was CNN’s ratings as they fell to a resounding third. They’re in trouble. MSNBC is the party organ of the left, Fox of the right. Unless Ross Perot makes a comeback (Pat Buchanan? Eugene Debs?) CNN has no place to go. Up or down.
NOT HOT: Hordes of Mexican bandits apparently did not attack Lou Dobb’s home this past week. Geraldo Rivera throwing rocks doesn’t count. “Oh, Pancho! Oh, Cisco!”
HOT: White House Fox vaccination program appears to be ending. Whether to quarantine moderate voters or liberal reporters from the network, it seemed to work (in part) as recent polls show more than 60% of Americans view the press as providing “fair” coverage of the Administration.
biznews: Just making fun out of you, friend. I make the same mistakes with my typed words regularly. I do agree with your faded Levi comments and I hope his Johnston gets run over by a fast moving zipper.
Hot: Seemingly all of cable news dressing up in Halloween costumes, including Count O’Reilly on The View.
Not Hot: Same as above
Not Hot: Any snews about Lou Dobbs. He’s become boring.
NOT: Niche channels continue to widen their scope. First Imus on FBN, now movies on the Weather Channel, fluff stuff on CNBC and a diluted Biz Block on FNC.
NOT: WH vs FNC. The story continues to go nowhere.

HOT: JENNA LEE filling in for Megyn Kelly on America’s Newsroom. She’s got a bright future in anchoring beyond FBN.

I’m anxious to read spud’s Hot/Not collection for this past week. Like grandpa says, nothing much happened on cable news.
