I wanted to read it. I wanted to care. I just couldn’t find it in me. Forgive me.

Heaven forbid “Whom You Know’s Peachy Deegan” gets a little outside exposure to her interviewing skills by having a snippet posted on ICN. Excuuuuse meeee!

Did you know she ‘pioneered’ a trend in journalism, soliciting sources on twitter? Can we blame her for Rick Sanchez?

I’m still not “into” Twitter, but I believe Sanchez was onto it much, much earlier than anyone else in cable news. I remember thinking how he being involved in anything with the word “twit” therein seemed quite appropriate.

I guess I should have read the article before commenting. Really, it was good, and shows that Julie is really dedicated to her career in news.
It also stated that she was a “musician”, but I sure didn’t see where it said what instrument she played. She also spoke of her on-air presence with Gregg Jarrett. I actually like her and Jarrett together, and they they both, and individually, do a very good job of bringing us the news.

Calling the Terry Schiavo case “my favorite story” was an odd choice of words. Kinda creepy.

Its called fair use. You should have left the quote in the post.

It’s called “Spud playing nice even though he doesn’t have to.”
Hmmm… I was going to skip reading it because of that, but since he didn’t kill the post it must not be a big deal. and none of my beeswax anyway.
I agree with her about the Terry Schiavo case. It was interesting from so many angles – Right to life vs. Right to die, Parents rights vs. Husband’s rights vs. Government’s (even Federal vs. State) right to interfere, suspicion of foul play by the husband, etc. The case involved all three branches of government and even POTUS, personally. It was a big deal that maybe shouldn’t have been – and even that makes it an interesting news story.

Far be it from me to get in the way of an author wanting to tamp down exposure to her article…
