Oliver Willis vs. Rachel Maddow…
Olliver Willis pens a response to Keith Olbermann’s Special Comment regarding diversity at NBC. But the kicker is the way Willis characterizes Rachel Maddow…
Even with the addition of Rachel Maddow to that lineup, still male and white.
Not cool. Not cool at all…
Update: alindc posted this comment which I quote in full here…
I think it’s a misunderstanding of a sentence that wasn’t written clearly enough. The last line of the study there, that says all the cable networks are too male and white, mentions that Greta and Campbell Brown are prime time anchors. Willis is saying that even with adding Maddow, the cable networks are still too male and white. Not taking a shot at Maddow.

Aside from being an arse with access to a computer, who the hell is Oliver Willis?

That pretty-well covers it.

Don’t get all mad at me b/c I mean this sincerely.
I think that Rachel Maddow would take that comment more as a compliment than anything else. Also, he may have meant it along the lines of Tweety with his “forgot for an hour” as a compliment.

C’mon people it was a joke. Lighten up. Besides it was a lefty who said it which makes it even more ok. Lefties can say whatever they want. Afterall, they’re the p.c. police and they don’t investigate their own.

‘Arse’ knows no political boundaries. ‘It’s just a joke’ is a lame excuse for ‘arse’.

Still the Tea Party movement dose have more Blacks than the entire MSNBC line-up…which according to Chrissy Mathews and KO must make MSNBC Racist too.
Of course as I said before the problem for Black Tea Party Members is when they do come out their either beat up by Pro-Dem SEIU Union thugs or MSNBC crops their image so no one sees them on air.

AlinDC: Hmm, me thinks you have a point, and I’m surprised I missed it. “Still too male and white” flows much better in that sentence.

Sorry, Mr. Willis, we’re a little slow over here sometimes..
