In your face!
NewsBusters’ Tim Graham probably could barely restrain his glee as he wrote about Cathy Areu’s appearance on The O’Reilly Factor last night, something that wasn’t going to happen…according to MSNBC.
MSNBC’s Peter Alexander claimed this afternoon that magazine publisher Cathy Areu declined an interview with Bill O’Reilly: “Areu said thanks but no thanks to Fox. Saying she wanted to appear right here on MSNBC. We don’t blame her.”
But there she was, in the first interview segment on Friday night’s Factor: Cathy Areu, responding to O’Reilly’s questions on her claim on the Headline News show Showbiz Tonight that Palin was “Larry the Cable Guy minus the class and intelligence.” O’Reilly pressed her to explain herself:
Graham’s likely schadenfreude aside, there’s a process story here for someone to dig up. As Graham notes at the end…
How did MSNBC end up so wrong in claiming she’d turned Fox down? Why would Areu pull a fast one on MSNBC and then shuttle right over to Fox? Whatever the reason, MSNBC has some Friday-night egg on their faces.

This Areu woman was laughable. She had really nothing to say, except that since Sarah Palin was now making some serious cash, she would no longer be stuck in line at Wal Mart, nor would she be stuck in traffic. And she kept repeating those two very things!
And according to Areu, if you can’t experience those two aspects of life, you have no business purporting to be “one of the people”!
Too bad Areu forgot that Sarah is a mom, took her kids to school and their other events for years, shopped at thrift stores, hunted for her dinner, etc.
Why doesn’t Areu also go after all of the Ivy League educated trust fund types on the left? Why are THEY allowed to “relate to the people” while Palin is not, now that she’s starting to make some money?
Again, I’m no Sarah Palin apologist, but the more the left attacks her, the more compelled I fell to defend her.
I can’t believe this Kathy Area woman actually runs a magazine! Is it “Mad”, or “Cracked”?

Preach on, Missy! We’re not Palin apologists either, but the constant attacks on her also compel us to defend her.
As for her lack of an Ivy education, we’d like to note that she became the Governor of a state without having gone to an Ivy, without having influential friends and without being married to a President of the United States.
It just bugs the cr@p out of us when the Cult of HILLARY! go on and on about how brilliant and accomplished Mrs. Clinton is, despite her only accomplishments coming from her marriage, while Palin succeeded without the fancy education and a blue collar husband.

Half Governor of kind of a state. Fixed.

Half Governor of kind of a state. Fixed
As opposed to a half Senator from a crooked state.
Somebody’s been working on their HTML coding.

However you try to demean and diminish her, Joe, at least she accomplished it on her own, and not because of her connections.
Where do you think HILLARY would be if not for having married a man who became President of the United States?

If she hadn’t had that idiot spoiling her campaign…President.
Come on, have a little humor. Y’all know I can’t get enough of Our Sarah. Best, most bizarre political story. Ever.
Thanks Steve.

It seems some people don’t like Palin, however they do like to have their name mentioned with palins. Areu had nothing really to say about Palin. Area is not stupid thou, she used Palins position against her just to get her name and exposure on msnbc and fox.
In my opinion thou, she did herself damage, it was so obvious what her seft interest was. Thats what i call people using people to get something they want.
