Read Howie Kurtz today and he said that the biggest story not covered was the flooding in Nashville. That there was little coverage by ABC, NBC & CBS, paraphrasing here, “they sent people for a day or two and talked about Opryland but had little time for anything else.” Fox News had someone there and I saw reports everyday for over a week. Howie baby just can’t name FOX News as a “news channel” because that would go against the lame stream media mantra of FOX isn’t a news channel. Maybe he needs to get some new “reliable sources!”

I saw that on Red Eye. I love that the anchor defended it. It was a perfectly reasonable response to being forced to sit there and listen to that ridiculous segment on what he presumed to be a news show.
Three minutes! I couldn’t believe I was forwarding through three minutes of piffle to get to the ‘offending’ statement. Is ‘penis’ really more offensive that ‘g-spot’? I think not..
Is hypocrisy being sold in bulk, these days? You do a story about women having their ‘spots’ enhanced in order to ‘enhance’ the outcome of certain activities, and it’s somehow offensive for the man to say what the purpose is? My outrage-meter must be busted.

Paige Hopkins is co-hosting with Eliot Spitzer on The Dylan Ratigan Show right now.
I don’t want to sound ridiculous but she is the best afternoon anchor I have seen in awhile.
-Less annoying than Tamron Hall, delivery of Alex Witt but with more charisma.
Hope MSNBC can find her a slot—but looking at the abysmal failure that is MSNBC daytime—I doubt it.

I don’t think either term to be particularly offensive. News you can really use… eh?

Had the sound off on the telly and saw a face I first thought to be Barack Obama’s with make-up and a wig. It was his aunt. Her ears were covered…
