The former House majority leader, who has emerged as a leading figure within the tea party movement as head of the nonprofit group FreedomWorks told reporters at a lunch sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, that candidates who call themselves tea party leaders are opening themselves up for more negative scrutiny from hostile media outlets, and he singled out MSNBC as a leading antagonist of the tea party movement and its favored candidates.
“Any legitimate newsperson would be embarrassed to see them pretending to be newspeople,” he said of MSNBC. “They’re not news people. They’re political hacks,” he said, specifically citing the network’s liberal hosts Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann. “I’m sorry. I watch that network. I watch that Keith Olberby guy — cracks me up. I know very well he’s never gotten over the Americans beating the Russians in ’80. And he’s got this mean nasty side to him, and it’s entertaining, but don’t tell me he’s a newsperson. It’s a disrespect to the profession.”

The mistake Armey made is calling Bath Tub Boy and Madboy newspeople. They aren’t. I know its hard for people to understand because MSNBC uses them in the role of newspeople often. Allowing them to host debates and other things that make a total mockery out of things.
But Armey should have attacked MSNBC “newspeople” because they really don’t have any legititmate journalists. Certainly not the likes of hacks like: Contessa Brewer, Norah O Donnell, Tamron Hall, Andrea Mitchell. Pretty pathetic.

Afer watching Cris mathews special ,The new right , Dick Army can now add Cris mathews to that list.
Fox news needs to wake up and discover that msnbc and there so called journalist are out to defeat the republicans and fox news.
Msnbc has the gall along with the white house to say fox is not a news service. unbelieveable.
I know fox has to much class to get down and dirty like msnbc, but i believe they must start singleing out people like Olby,Maddow, ED Schultz and Cris Mathews in the same way msnbc does Beck, Hannity and O’Rielly. msnbc,s agenda is to defeat conserative tv and radio and re-elect obama.

The word “newspeople” (which probably isn’t even a word) means, based on the root word, personalities who report news, regardless of how much opinion they put into it. Just like billo the pervert, hannity the insanity and beck the cry baby report on news that is happening in a particular day, they go ahead and comment on it. Anybody can report the news.

Hey genius, maybe all those people you mentioned aren’t journalists because they aren’t labeled as such! They are anchors of news hours, you fool. The journalists at MS/NBC are Chuck Todd, Savannah Guthrie, Mike Viquiera, Luke Russert, Pete Williams, Jim Miklaszewski, Tom Costello, Richard Engel, John Yang, Ron Allen, Lee Cowan, etc. I could go on forever, and ever. If you actually put minimal effort into doing some research, you would find this out. And, these journalists do their job very well, 1000% better than what can be said for the clowns at Fox News who care about their ratings and viewers more than their journalistic integrity, or what’s left of it.

I’m sure Fox already knows MSNBC is out to get them, but they can’t reply to it because MSNBC exposes them for the liars they are day after day after day. They are scared to go up against MSNBC, and they only criticize them without naming them because they know their gullible sheep will find out what a fraud Fox is after they actually become informed with FACTS.

That’s because they’re not… they are a political arm of the Republican party. They have people like Beck running Tea Parties endorsed by Republican congressman, Sean Hannity speaking at rallies for Republican congress members (like Michele Bachmann) up for re-election, contributors like Palin, Rove and Gingrich shilling for the party and fighting against the Obama administration. And, you wonder why Obama fights back? Maybe because all Fox does is lie about them 24/7 and help defeat Obama.

LOL… Fox has class??? Kind of like when they cheap shot Obama all the time and lie about him being a socialist, Marxist, communist, fascist, Stalinist, Maoist, comparing him to Hitler, etc. Yeah, that’s very classy, indeed. Again, they can’t afford to go after MSNBC. If they wanted to, they would have done it by now. But, if they go out and give MSNBC attention, people watching Fox will watch Olbermann, Maddow and Schultz showing Fox News as the propaganda network it is and all the viewers will wake up from being sheep for Fox and actually gain some knowledge about the truth. For now, they are just brainwashed from the talking points spewed by Fox and the Republican party, which it’s employed by.

Ironically, Fox News’ agenda is exactly the same thing, but to take down liberal television and anything progressive or to the left, defeat President Obama and his entire administration, prop up pathetic politicians like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, promote the Tea Parties, and elect a Republican into office, just like they helped to keep George Bush in office for 8 years.
