…and that’s because everybody knows CNN will give various reactions to the speech, while MSNBC can be counted on to roll out the regular crew to agree with each other. Boring.

…and it’s just a given that FNC won the night.

I don’t know… maybe it would have been fun to watch Matthews, Olbermann, et. al., beat up President Obama.

Good call, Al. They tore him apart. The Great Orator is anything but..

He’s still a great orator; He’s never been a leader. At some point the fancy talk has to translate into tangible positive progress.
The President’s foreign policy has slapped allies and emboldened enemies, the details about the health care law are now trickling out to reveal blatant lies from his own mouth, the jobs picture after hundreds of billions of dollars in stimulus is actually looking worse, and he wants to use the oil spill catastrophe to push global warming legislation that will cost more jobs.
No surprise. The man’s resume indicated he was really good at getting hired to do a job but did not include anything to indicate that he knew how to do the job. We’ve since discovered he’s also a slow learner.
Somebody put some lipstick on that pig.

I disagree about your first sentence. I don’t know what happened, but he lost his oratory after the primaries. His Inaugeration speech was dull.

I’ll concede the point. I don’t want to listen to him any more than I have to.
That sucks. Hmmmm… maybe his talking will suck up the oil spill.

He remains a great orator when you avoid listening to him speak.
