HOT – “In the absence of any meaningful action from the FCC, Cablevision has agreed to pay Fox an unfair price for multiple channels of its programming including many in which our customers have little or no interest.
I don’t guess ya need to work in the biz to know Cablevision is talking about Fox Business, eh?
I’m pretty sure Cablevision already carried Fox Business because it’s been on the channel guide. The news stories about it state that Fox wanted and got $1.00 per subscriber for retransmission consent of its local affiliates, plus the three cable channels. They already paid for the cables channels, but the broadcast nets were free. And Cablevision subscribers lost their ABC signal earlier this year for a similar dispute.
From Bloomberg: “The channels returning to Cablevision are Fox 5 (WNYW), Fox 29 (WTXF), My9, Fox Business Network, National Geographic Wild and Fox Deportes.”
Hot: Corrupt Bastards. CBS reporters caught strategizing to undermine Miller and his supporters. Red handed.
Not: Yusuf Islam (moderate??? muslim) wanting death to Rushdie performing at the “Restore Sanity” rally.
Hot: MSNBC, I predict their election coverage will put CNN to shame.
Not: CNN
Hot: ABC invites Breitbart to discuss election coverage
Not: ABC back peddles after they get grief for allowing a conservative voice.
You can call me “liberals” all you want, but this particular one has a problem with a hack who repeatedly plays doctored videos to harm liberals. There’s plenty of honest conservatives ABC can hire for commentary. Breitbart is a dishonest hack.
It’s “Democratic”, not “democrat”; and ABC had plenty of good conservatives to choose from, beginning with SE Cupp. Why they would pick a sleazy hack like Breitbart over someone like her is a mystery to me.
HOT: Glenn Beck and Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert proved that people will come out to a free event to see cable personalities they like, telling them vague/generic stuff they’ll like hearing. Beyond that, I’m not sure anything “happened”.

Two days prior to an election means everyone is hot.

Not: CNN’s Election Matrix twitching like “The Great And Powerful Wizard of Oz”… and turns out that wadn’t the only similarity.

Am I wrong or did CNN rip off the theme music from ‘John Adams’ for their election coverage? It sure sounds the same to me.

ABC got grief for allowing a conservative hack a voice.

Liberals call all conservatives who proactively take on their methods and causes “hacks”.

I’m with joe on this issue. ALL dishonest hacks, left or right, have NO business being recognized for anything other than they are – liers.

ABC has George – a democrat operative who they try to pass off as an objective journolist. Breitbart is more objective that George S.

I’d prefer SE Cupp, too, as she’s a clear thinker. I suspect ABC News can’t afford her.
