Why do people have him on? He’s contentious and argumentative without the charm required to make that worthwhile. He’s a Sarah Palin fanboy with an attitude. Send him back to blog-land.
And now you know why Parker was hired by CNN. Other than being a giggler on air (I think that’s pretty much all she does), she is no conservative. Just another left-leaner.
Parker doesn’t strike me as a left-leaner, though she is insufferable. I think she stares at most guests with a look that says, “I’m so much smarter than you,” and yet her writing does not reveal a woman of great intellect.
Hard to believe CNN will let this thing limp along much longer. I think they must be waiting to announce its cancellation until they have a replacement lined up.
John Zeigler’s gotta be the only guy that can make Park or Spit look good. He’s an aggressive, humorless fanboy, who wouldn’t give Sarah Palin a moment’s thought if she looked more like Meg Whitman. He’s a stalker with an agent.
If you only know Kathleen Parker through her “Palin-bashing”, you need to get out more. You don’t have to like her – and I certainly don’t on this show – but to say she was unknown before Sarah came along is silly.
Actually, based on ratings for the show, I’d say she is still pretty much unknown to most of America. The only time she seems to contribute on the show is when there is some Palin bashing. Saw a ad today where it said tonight’s guest Dick Cavet would be there to discuss Sarah Palin. I beginning to think that this P/S show is actually Palin/ Sarah all the time.
Parker may be unknown to “most of America”, but most cable-news/Sunday-show consumers are quite well aware of who she is. I don’t think she’s much better known now among the general public than she was a few years ago.

The only reason people even know who Parker is, won a Pulitzer, got a CNN show is her Palin bashing.
