CNN International today launched a new weekend edition of ‘International Desk’. Anchored by Jonathan Mann, the 30 minute version of the program airs twice on Saturday and Sunday in the same time slot the weekend programs airs (1500 GMT & 1800 GMT).

Meanwhile, some viewers have expressed concern and outrage over CNN International’s decision to reduce the main weekday European prime time version of ‘International Desk’ to 30 minutes (from 60 minutes).).
