Mine’s on the mindnumbing amount of coverage of Egypt. They give us diddly for international coverage, then compensate by pretending they’re oh so serious about it when news catches up with them. “What does it all mean? Here to explain it for two hours a night…Geraldo.”
Rachel Maddow’s Lean Forward commercial is hysterical. When she says “…and a devotion to facts that borders on obsessive”, she really bites down on obsessive, and sounds ridiculous. Please kill this ad before I kill my television.
No, I don’t care that you think she’s a liberal liar who looks like a man. I like her..hate the ad.
Glad to see the decision of the judge in Florida. Now we have to see if the Supremes will take up the case right away or wait for all the different appeals courts to happen throughout the country. At least according to Greta, the severability issue is something that any nitwit who writes legislation should have included when they wrote the bill. Oh yeah, Nancy (a dimwit – you know – “we have to pass the bill before we know what is in it”) had another dimwit – David Obey (from my state of Wisconsin) be the main coordinator of the bill.
Do we need healthcare reform – sure – just not this bill! Would my family personally benefit from parts of this bill – you bet – after cancer you have all kinds of issues with continuing coverage.
The Friday numbers are pretty much as I predicted. FNC & MSNBC had no real change and are probably anxious to get back to regular programing where their hosts lack of knowledge on foreign affairs won’t be so obvious. CNN got a small bump; 200,000+/-; mostly new viewers based on their past reputation.
Really good HOLTV this AM on Daily Rundown. They were doing a board on the headlines of the day and posted one that said ‘Huge crows gather in Cairo etc.’.
No one on, or off, air seem to notice as the board was up for about 30 seconds. I hope someone captured it for all to see.

Spud…I hope your father’s health is improving. In addition, I hope you’re able to get some much needed rest.

Is this a case of the phone choosing words for you like my Droid does? I have no idea what a HOLTV is.
