Actually you got that backwards. An elitist would move to Maldives because that’s where the rich people go because…well…that’s what rich people do. Madonna was out there for New Years.
Palau gets 60,000 tourists a year and 95% of them are divers. The lowest end Maldivian resort beats the pants off of The Palau Pacific Resort, Palau’s only real premium resort. And everything costs 3-4x as much in Maldives as Palau. Elitist? HA!
