CNN Names Kate Bolduan Congressional Correspondent

Kate Bolduan will join CNN’s Capitol Hill unit, it was announced today by David Bohrman, senior vice president of programming and Washington bureau chief. Bolduan will begin her new assignment Monday, April 25.

Since Kate came over from Newsource, it has seemed like there was no story, no beat, no topic she couldn’t master,” said Bohrman. “She has excelled at everything from filling in at the White House, to covering the Supreme Court and even anchoring. Kate will be a great partner with Dana Bash and our Capitol Hill team as we move in to the exciting and unpredictable 2012 election year.”

New Hampshire Debate to Focus on Economic Issues Including Jobs, Taxes, Deficits and Debt

WASHINGTON, DC – April 14, 2011—Charlie Rose, executive editor and anchor of CHARLIE ROSE, will moderate The Washington Post-Bloomberg Republican presidential debate on October 11 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

The Washington Post-Bloomberg debate will focus on the issues voters say they care about most: jobs, deficit, taxes and the economy. The debate will be the first of the 2012 Presidential campaign devoted to the single subject of the U.S. economy. Three years after the most severe downturn in the economy since the Great Depression, the candidates will debate over federal spending, deficits and debt, Social Security, Medicare, financial regulatory reform, taxes and the top issue in national polls: jobs.
