What’s Hot:
Debt Crisis – The seemingly never ending saga is still not ended and cable news is all over it.

What’s Not:
Washington D.C. – #F***YouWashington
Al Sharpton – More articles this week questioning giving Sharpton a 6pm show on MSNBC.

If MSNBC plans on giving both Sharpton and Chris Hayes weekday shows, that would be a lot of new programming at once (although Olbermann’s ouster certainly shook up MSNBC programming as well). That’s risky especially since Chris Matthews does fairly well at 5 and again at 7.
This is not quite as big a shakeup as CNN’s coming changes, but still important nonetheless, especially as election season heats up.
