Catching the re-air now. Is she gonna talk that fast for a whole hour?

She slowed down a bit after a while. It was a pretty typical “CNN hour” with the usual suspects, but it holds promise. One thing that’s glaringly obvious is Erin is a genuinely nice person, and very smart. Hopefully as the months go by, she’ll get a chance to make it more her own. I’ll watch.
Btw, how old is she? She seems so young, but she’s been around quite a while.

Erin is 35.I found the show to be,as stated, somewhat typical as far as content goes but Erin does lighten it all up.she seems to be having fun and that carries through to the show. Also you get a dose of obvious business related experience.I’ll watch when I can.I have always liked Erin and certainly hope she can break the curse CNN has at that hour but I also suspect she has a long term contract with CNN so she isn’t going anywhere.

I wonder why they even hired her. I thought she looked like a high schooler interviewing Panetta. Hala Gorani is a much more accomplished host and would be much better. She’s not quite as pretty though and has a funny sounding name.

I only got to watch part of the show so I will wait a few days before forming an opinion on how it works for me at the start of it’s run. I did like what I saw, particularly the Mark Haines comment at the end.
It’s too bad the Amanda Knox verdict had to be covered at the start of the show as it caused them to go off script as to what they had planned as an opening show.
Interesting Hardball went with a ‘Special’ show last night that was really only his regular show with a single topic. I wonder if they were worried about getting killed in the ratings by Burnett’s new show.
