  1. Was there an edit in there somewhere? I think I may have missed a transition on subject matter. I did enjoy the Gingrich/Sanduskey comparison, though.

    This is typical recent Imus fare – Imus thinks Gingrich is repulsive, Imus can’t understand why TV numbers are so much weaker than the radio numbers, Imus’ view of TV/Radio execs, his audience, what they wear….all old news.

    Bernie’s line was superb – the analogy reflects on Newt’s election chances more than his personal baggage.

    Ever since Bernie fed Imus the infamous line that started the 2007 ruckus, he’s toned down the ad libs considerably – you simply cannot be that “politically incorrect” and funny in America, 2011.

    Try to remember – much of Imus’ material is satire, parody and comedy…that his show also covers news and politics makes for a blend some cannot handle. Regular listeners/viewer get the joke.
