Has Major Garrett ever represented National Journal on Fox since he left Fox? He was on Hardball again today. He seems to be on MSNBC quite a bit as a guest.
April 24, 2012 at 4:40 pm
I don’t think Major has the sightest interest in being on FNC again.
April 24, 2012 at 4:43 pm
Joe, it appears that way. The same with SE Cupp? She left Fox and now she’s on NOW with Alex Wagner, but only once in a blue moon. I’ve never seen her on Hardball or MJ. I don’t know about the other MSNBC shows. When she was on Fox, she was on a lot of its shows. I don’t know why she made the switch. It certainly hasn’t gotten her more face time.

I’ve seen Major on FBN with Imus.

“I don’t think Major has the sightest interest in being on FNC again.”
Why?

Or, the artist formerly known as Ron Artest for the unaware.

Will someone please construct a hook large enough to yank Newt Gingrich?
April 24, 2012 at 6:07 pm
I think Major Garrett was on Red Eye once a few months ago.
I noticed this morning that Doocy clarified is ‘silver spoon’ paraphrase but did not apologise.

Breaking News: Today on Hardball Chris Matthews, Nia-Malika Henderson, and Chris Cilizza declared that President Obama is very cool and Mitt Romney is not cool at all.
April 24, 2012 at 6:15 pm
Gingrich says he wants to be “helpful”. I have a suggestion for him but it’s not very nice.

Newt will look like a fool if he goes on after tonight.
Okay, few will notice the difference, but he will and will drop out.

Enjoy seeing Stuart Varney on Hannity & Hannity. I like not hearing an accent every once in a while.
April 24, 2012 at 6:26 pm
SE is on NOW and Martin Bashir’s show at least once a week. I believe her contract with GBTV precludes working for FNC. Apparently Fox doesn’t want to utter the word’s “contributor for Glenn Beck” on their air.
April 24, 2012 at 6:32 pm
Glen Beck still appears on O’Reilly but for some reason SE can’t.

Piers had the woman who appeared in LBJ’s “Daisy” ad at the end of his show.. Strange but true.
April 24, 2012 at 9:17 pm
Of course I remember the DAISY AD real time in 1964. Though it was only aired by the Johnson campaign once, snips appeared now and then. As you might guess, Goldwater was my choice. I had an AuH2O bumper sticker above my bedroom door. Both conventions had their dramatic moments. The result was not in question, but Goldwater laid the foundation for Reagan two decades later. Thankfully there were daisies left to pick.

So the Left (and joe) get their knickers in a twist over Steve Doocey’s alleged mis-quote of Obama.
I see those same people are remaining silent as President Obama commits the same act, only worse.
It’s a good thing joe’s not the son of a politcian, or else Rachel Maddow would be all over your a**.
April 25, 2012 at 3:02 pm
A politician mis-quoting someone is not the same as when a journalist does it. It’s the latter’s job to get it right.
It’s a fair point to make the Doocy was paraphrasing the president’s words instead of quoting him verbatim. But Doocy was looking down and appeared to be reading, an act which might (rightly) indicate to some that he was, in fact quoting. While it’s true that Doocy is no longer a straight news reporter and no longer constrained from inserting some opinion, it’s also true that he used to be a journalist who should know better and he was, after all, interviewing the man who may become POTUS in a few months.
Doocy screwed up. That the “Left (and joe)” screw up is not an excuse.
