The Hazards of Live TV: #25,159
I know Microsoft doesn’t have a stake in MSNBC TV anymore and the MS in MSNBC TV is purely for consistency sake now. But, still, you’d think MSNBC would be able to get Microsoft’s logo correct, wouldn’t you? Apparently not. Microsoft uses a lot of logos but this isn’t one of them.

For everyone who uses a PC and has to reboot the damn thing so often that their eyes glaze over, that looks a lot like the logo they frequently see.

I suppose it’s the most recognizable image associated with the brand, but they are confusing a product line with the entire company.

OK, I googled “Microsoft Logo” and that exact image came up. Show us, Spud what the correct representation is.

Missy, that’s the problem. This bad logo has been propogated across the internet so much that it’s been accepted as being true, but it simply isn’t.
