  1. HOT — Mitt’s pick of Paul Ryan. All of a sudden the Democrats are the one’s defensive on saving Medicare. Game changer bold move that have all cable channels buzzing.

NOT — Touré shows what a vile, nasty place MSNBC really is.

  2. Toure isn’t telling us what we didn’t already know. Situation normal.

  3. Toure told the truth, albeit unpleasantly. Campaigning against the President with words like “anger” and “hate” is disgusting. The GOP should throw that sleazeball outta the party.

  4. missy5537 Says:

Joe, 0bama IS campaigning on divisiveness and hate, but we’re not supposed to notice or say anything BECAUSE HE IS BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    So there.

  5. ‘Campaigning against the President with words like “anger” and “hate” is disgusting.’ Ahem: politico.com/blogs/jonathan…

  6. You need a backhoe to clear out the hypocrisy of this joint.

  7. missy5537 Says:

I apologize for my post, above. I should have stated my source which, of course, was “Captain Obvious”.

  8. savefarris Says:

Are you sure it wasn’t Harry Reid?

PS: How does he still have a job?!?

  9. Toure screamed “racism” which is all liberals know how to do, And then throw a hissy fit when people call them on it. You sound like fools, but not much else is new. Keep screaming it, and maybe it’ll make a difference, just this once.

  10. I’ll scream it every time I see it. In this case it’s race-baiting, not racism. How many effing times do I have to explain this?

  11. The “race-baiters” are the people who want to decide what language we can use in any given situation. You don’t get to be Language Police, and decide who has evil intent and who doesn’t. Deal with it.

  12. Geezus, I was kidding when I said some people could find racial symbolism/code words in their bowl of oatmeal.

    It wasn’t a request.

    Gawd.

  13. I can have any damn opinion about some douchebag politician’s language I want. It’s my opinion. YRMV. Deal with it.

  14. The only person here telling others what to say and how to say it is you.

    No. One. Else.

I can’t stop you if I wanted to. And believe me I have no desire to stop you from saying whatever the heck you want.

Every third post of yours refutes your earlier posts.

Why bother trying to stop you?

  15. And express it for the hundredth time. Yawn.

  16. Y’all keep making a stink over my opinion, I’m gonna keep defending it. Maybe you should consider talking about something else.

  17. There’s real racism in America. Black people suffer it.

Using the term so loosely doesn’t help fight it. Conservatives think it’s not much of a problem. It is. But throwing it around like this leads to them dismissing the real racism that is still out there.

Save it for when it really occurs. Not chicken stuff like this.

  18. Race-baiting, not racism. You’re so dismissive of the problem that you can’t even bother to understand the topic.

  19. We’re dismissive of a complaint that is so clearly self-serving. “Anger” and “hate” are now, conveniently, racial code-words. What. Ever.

  20. Other words to avoid:

    White bread
    Color TV
    your Uncle Ben
    Do the right thing
    fruit with seeds
    Master Yoda

  21. missy5537 Says:

    Good news, comrades: http://politicker.com/2012/08/seal-assault-just-beginning/

These “attacks” that the Special Operations guys are making on the POTUS for leaking national security secrets are apparently just the beginning. And the left is stating that this is just like the “Swift Boat” attacks against Thurston Howell III back in 2004.

I agree with that assessment!! And thank the Lord for it.

  22. Conservatives think it’s not much of a problem.

You are so wrong. Stop believing the bs that the liberals spew, which is why they throw it around so much.

  23. ^ Geez. We finally got him down for his nap. Don’t wake him…

  24. Not: Cable news group-think. An insignificant story that made the cable news rounds this week was about a mom who dressed her young daughter up as Dolly Parton for a TV show-sponsored pageant. Almost all of the talking heads called this “creepy” and associated the costume with “dressing sexy”.

Even the self-proclaimed “fair and balanced” Fox News programmes left out what I thought was a glaringly obvious perspective. That is, she was dressing up as Dolly Parton – probably one of the most wholesome celebrities anyone can think of. Little girls are certainly innocent and hopefully oblivious to anything “sexy”, but they aren’t stupid. Of course you’d expect to see a little girl dressing up as “Dolly Parton” to have big boobs and butt as part of the costume.

I think little girl beauty pageants are dumb and television shows about them even dumber. Still, if a news channel is going to cover such a story it should do it right.

  25. Dolly Parton is like a human Barbie Doll. You’d almost have to be a little weird to think of her that way, especially now,

  26. Not: Soledad O’Brien uses Talking Points Memo blog as notes on live TV.

NOT: replaying of Bidens’ foot in his mouth over and over….Joe a dipstick….picking him almost cost Obama my vote….but then McCain found a way to make me over look him……turns out the VP picks decided my vote. How many times do we really need to see Biden saying the same dumb thing in 1 day. I will admint that finding out a large number of the people he was talking to were black made a difference…..but its Biden….thats what he does.

  27. It is time to stop giving Joe a pass. He is the Vice President for goodness sake. During the early days of his term you could chuckle about him. There is no way we should be OK with his loose lips any more. No more laughing on my part, now I just have disgust.

  28. The thought of him as President should frighten everyone. I pray for Obama’s good health.

  29. missy5537 Says:

Good point, Pam. It’s not like he’s the stand in for Jay Leno; the job of POTUS is serious. The only thing is that he couldn’t make more of a mess of things than the incumbent has done.

  30. Oh, they haven’t lost Tina. They never had Naill. Loved his PBS series on Ascent of Money. He is what Paul Krugman would be if he had a brain instead of a prize. Tina just needs to sell mags. Newsweek is on the ropes with the Harmon family bailing.

  31. sneak preview: next week’s NEWSWEEK cover headline:

WOULD BARACK EVER CHEAT ON MICHELLE?
    World’s Best PYSCICs Predict!

  32. Lordy, when Newsweek runs a cover story praising Obama you complain about the liberal press.

But when they run a cover story critical of him all of your concerns about press bias disappear.

    Well, which is it?

Yes, I’ll now get off my high horse. It can get dizzy up here.

  33. Pay attention and prove you are smarter than the horse. It’s only on the cover for shock value to sell mags. Tina has been going overboard the last month as NEWSWEEK is loosing money faster than the Chevy Volt.

  34. larry: come on.. don’t you know the Chevy Volt is the greatest thing EVER! (at least according to joe) Don;t you bad mouth the Chevy Volt.

  35. ^^The man has a bat in his attic.

  36. How’s that out of context dredging up of my name going today? I know a little about cars, and explained the Volt’s purpose and operation accurately. I never said it was “the greatest car in the world”. It’s a good car.

  37. Gee my old LaSalle ran great.

  38. Bat is gone. Talked him into taking a ride on the roof of my car.

  39. If only he had known about Seamus he’d never would have gone with you.

Probably would have known about it if Fox News didn’t control so much of the press.

    Fox kills again….

See, I made it cable news related?

  40. Now if Joe ever decided to buy a gun, it might be this one:
    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=301985139

  41. Uh..no. The little gold race car inlay is pretty cheesy. But I might buy a gun one of these days and do a little target practice. Or maybe not.

  42. A .22 and some tin cans is fun.Though I don’t know where you can do plinking in CA. I just go out in the backyard.

  43. No plinking here. Shooting range, or whatever you call those places.

  44. A big NOT to ABC which is just so prone to going off half-cocked it is getting ridiculous:
    http://www.deadline.com/tag/abc-news/

  45. I think the jury is still out on ABC’s claim. The kind of person who would react to terminal illness by ending his life is the kind of person who might not tell his family what he was dealing with.
