That was Deval Patrick’s “Obama ’04″ moment. Incredible speech.

CNN has the darkest video from the pool feed.

All those color-coordinated posters just scream “Grass roots”.
Patrick’s speech was great, as long as you ignore the substance of it. No wonder Chris lapped it up.

Julian Castro killed that speech. Wow.

I didn’t watch. I had two fantasy drafts. But, I’m guessing the folks at MSNBC didn’t have gas pains like they did last week?

The first half of Castro’s speech (about how his mom pulled herself up) was great and would have totally fit in to last week’s schedule.
… up until he got to the “personal responsibility is for suckers” portion. Then, it was standard boilerplate Mitt Romney’s Bank Account will pay for all our hopes and desires.
PS: We tried the “untested Democrat minority who speaks well” for the past 4 years. How’s it worked out for us?
PPS: Chris Matthews *SO* wants to say that Michelle gave him a thrill up his leg.

Adoring media. Cult of personality. Hazard of slipping in pools of drool.

FNC has bad audio from Greta’s show in Charlotte.
It’s sounds like a telephone call.

Wasn’t so impressed with Julian Castro’s speech. Expectations were too high. Michelle is an incredible speaker – I think better than her husband. Her presentation was perfect. But her speech was too long and…what was the point? She was interesting, but she really didn’t give any good reasons to give her husband four more years. But she sure motivated the base.

Michelle Obama: Signed, sealed and delivered.

Joe where is you? Sent into a state of bliss by the beautiful First Lady? Or mad at Spud for this post’s wording, a Joe no-no. He probably refers to his outer wear as a leatheric coat, because it’s an insult to call it leather.

Shows what I’ve said all along, that Spud never misses an opportunity to stick it to the Democratics.

Did not watch the convention so I googled “Michelle’s Speech” and this CNN article was the first one in the list so of course I clicked on it. Wow, what a great synopsis of her speech!
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/09/05/michelle-obama-convention-speech-dress-dazzles-scores/?hpt=hp_c2
I mean, yes, the twitter comments on her dress were more numerous than Ann Romney’s. And, thank goodness, that her dress was what a middle class woman could afford since they are all about the middle class. Dresses from this designer generally cost between $250-$450. And her shoes were only $245 AND she paid for them HERSELF!
They, of course had to mention what kind of dress Ann Romney wore and how much it cost but of course no mention that she probably paid for her shoes AND her dress herself.
But, back to the main point, what the hell did she talk about? I thought google can control what shows up first when you google a specific thing. Those people better get up to speed or maybe they truly do think that the democrats are so shallow that they are really only concerned about Michelle’s dress and of course, her fabulous arms!

I guess it doesn’t really matter what Michelle said: This says it all!

“Grand Slam” signature breakfast at Denny’s. Doubt that was tree Wolf was barking up.

I liked Michelle’s dress, although someone on another site mentioned that in close-up it looked like a bathing suit.
