Not: Eric Bolling Named New Cashin’ In Host.
Not: Cashin’ In. Didn’t even know it was still on.
Not: CNBC letting two billionaires go at it by phone for upwards of 30 minutes. Maybe I’m too outside their audience to understand the point, but it was a long argument that didn’t seem to go anywhere.
Not: Different host, same format on Cashin’ In. It’s the same mocking of Democrats you’ve expected from the block since at least 2005 and it’s just that much more unbearable with Bolling as a host.
Hot: For better or worse, CNN winning the public inauguration day in the ratings. A rare feat, follows their tradition of news days being better for them, but nonetheless the numbers were amazing.
Hot: The new signs of the new CNN with the hiring on of a sports reporter and an apparent plan for a weekend sports show.
NOT: FOX News dedicates their live inauguration coverage to telling us how Obama’s a bad person who said mean things about Romney.
NOT: MSNBC’s coverage is dedicated to that tingly feeling Chris Matthews has in his legs.
HOT: CNN’s Inauguration ratings — too bad it only lasts a day.
NOT: Danica Patrick dating Ricky Stenhouse — if I see one more “story” about this, I might end up throwing my computer out the window.
I know what you mean, Andy.
Even my network reported on the whole Patrick/Stenhouse thing. And we’re a sports network! Since when is driving, a sport?
HOT: CNN easily wins Inauguration ratings.
HOT: The Hand of Zucker reforming CNN.
HOT: Paling is through at FNC.
NOT: Nielsen and facial recognition. (Just sounds creepy to me.)
Those are fighting words, blue.
Aw… go make a series of left turns. ;)
Hey, Joe and Spud, what should we do about blue’s blasphemous speech?
I guess MSNBC thinks I’ll get used to that useless bar at the top of the screen one day. Well, they’re wrong and I won’t.
^ Consider that a “Not Hot” submission.
A couple more:
HOT: Palin out at FOX
NOT: All the media outlets continuing to boost her profile and keep her relevant.
I got nothin’ for HOT/NOT that hasn’t already been posted, sooo…
NASCAR has a big problem with Stenica. Danica going to Cup full-time this year was The Big Story. “Danica hooks up with younger driver considered one of the sport’s biggest rising stars..gets divorced” was not part of the deal in this very conservative, family oriented series. Bigger problem: If they end up drafting together so one can win the Daytona 500…
Andy, it’s one of their signature elements visually and they’ve made it work quite well for awhile. Only thing I wish is that they’d cut own on how much stuff is on screen at a time, but heaven knows no one in cable is willing to do that.
NOT: President Obama blaming FOX and Limbaugh for him (Obama) not being able to get more done.
POTUS is absolutely correct. The angry rightwing media calls any Republican who dares to compromise a RINO, then they get primaried by angry True Believers who’d rather lose a general election than sacrifice their precious “principles”. Good luck with that, conservatives..
And the President’s interest is to try and “help” conservatives. Right. He’s the President. How’s about shutting up and being one.
Wait… so rightwing media is terrible and ruining everything for everyone. Unless we’re talking about ratings, and the they’re insignificant, because their audience is such a small percentage.
Do you people think, or just copy/paste KOS “logic” until you believe it?
Logic doesn’t existwhen libs are talking about FNC or Rush.
The current POTUS just draws names out of a hat on weekly basis to determine who’s at fault for all his failures.
He’s always been childish.
Who was the guy Christine O’Donnell primaried? You know, the one gauranteed to win that seat, but he got tagged RINO, and you got stuck with an idiot who couldn’t win instead. Obama is right. Rightwing Screamer Media condemns Republicans who make deals so they can get some of what they want.
Obama’s only concern is with being criticized. Period. He has no legitimate interest in “fixing” the Republican Party. Stop pretending that his interest is anything other than selfish.
You’re granting me a premise I did not establish. I said nothing about POTUS “helping” the GOP. I said he’s right about why they won’t make deals with him.
I hate the hypocrisy of this argument. Like we don’t remember Evan Bayh, or Joe Lieberman.
And how the left things one television station and one radio host, ruins things for everyone, while never examining themselves. The left wins big in an election, and yet it’s just a few people who prevent their greatness… or so they think. Gotta blame someone, because saying, “What we’re doing isn’t working” is too introspective.
It’s pathetic. It’s always someone else’s fault when they accomplish nothing. Obama has a majority in both houses, and still does nothing… and yet, it’s the Republican’s fault.
Forget the donkey… their new mascot should just be some guy pointing at someone else.
It is awesome that obama thinks the media just isn’t liberal enough. He’s always b!etched about the media which is amazing in itself. If he had to live a day under the scrutiny GWB dealt with, he’d cower in a corner with his thumb in his mouth.
I know, you “hate”, and it’s “pathetic”. You need new writers.
I have a bit more interest in this than the President’s faux concern for the state of discourse and the Republican Party.
And I guess we’ve forgotten about the fiscal-cliff “deal” already. You know, the one where you got your precious tax-increases. But I guess that one doesn’t count anymore. Or the one where Republicans basically backed down on the debt ceiling increase. How about we stop whining about Republicans..oh, I forgot, that’s all you do.
I’ve had my fill of your attitude about “all I do”.
Maybe I need a thesaurus. I’ll accept that premise.
Doesn’t make what I said any less true. Just less semantically interesting.
And I’ve had my fill of you ignoring any argument that you can’t counter in favor of some imagined slight, while calling everyone else names when they fail to take hysterical “arguments” seriously.
