CNN Delays Website Re-Launch

Capital New York’s Alex Weprin scoops that CNN’s planned re-launch of its website is being delayed…

CNN’s new website, $15 million and a decade in the making, was scheduled to launch this fall. Now, Capital has learned, the site relaunch has been pushed to early 2014.

Some unexpected technical issues arose during the rebuild, a source told Capital. CNN will also be extending its beta-testing period through the holidays to ensure that the launch goes off without a hitch.
