ongrog, Williams cut his anchor teeth on MSNBC an hour a day starting in 1996. Sometimes more than an hour. When the story is big, you’ll tend to find him on MSNBC.
It’s not about quantity. If it were, the ladies on MSNBC should win out becuase they’re on the air longer than anybody else.

Baier over Williams? Laughable.
Why “laughable. They both do an excellent job. One is on a broadcast network for 1/2 hour M-F.
The other is on a cable news network for 1 hour M-F.
Despite the Anchor Wars billing of “MSNBC’s Brian Williams,” neither I, nor do I doubt Brian, would describe him any other way than NBC News anchor.
For that reason, I DQ Williams, and have no other choice but to cast my vote for Mr. Baier.

I don’t care what your reasoning or politics are, Williams is vastly more seasoned and credible than Boy Bart.

Bret Baier. He’s smart, doesn’t share his political views and isn’t a condescending prick.

First, the second story is devoted to Bret Baier, linked from J$P.
Second, I definitely go for Baer largely due to I wholly agree with the No Quarter article.
I was very disappointed when Brit Hume retired so young. I really thought that Bret Baer was going to not be up to the job.
I am pleasantly surprised, IMO, to see that he fills Brit Humes shoes quite nicely.
