All (almost) Quiet on the Cable News Front…
Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve noticed quite a drawdown in crossfire between MSNBC and FNC the past few months. Ok, it’s not just me because I’ve asked around and others have noticed it too. Not a complete cessation but a real throttling back in the cross network rhetoric between elements at MSNBC and elements at FNC. Maybe it’s just a lull in the action. But it’s been quite a protracted lull, going back to early June.

KO’s decision to stop mentioning Billo helped.

Maybe they’re both growing up? naaaaah.

They might hear this and get reminded to attack each other again.

Yes, there is that peril…
Michael Palin: Look, let me go back in and face the peril…
John Cleese: No, it’s too perilous…
Palin: Couldn’t I just have a little bit of peril?
Cleese: No. It’s unhealthy…

Maybe its from the higher-ups? hulu.com is owned by news corp and universal. attaching GE’s ceo and vice versa can’t be good for this long.
July 13, 2009 at 2:19 pm
I’ve seen that also, isn’t it about some deal that GE and News Corp have?

ge owns owns universal.

Nice use of Monty Python! My personal favorite…
“Minstrel: [singing] Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot. He was not afraid to die, oh brave Sir Robin. He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways, brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin. He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp, or to have his eyes gouged out, and his elbows broken. To have his kneecaps split, and his body burned away, and his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Robin. His head smashed in and heart cut out, and his liver removed, and his bowels unplugged, and his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off and his penis…
Sir Robin: That’s, uh, that’s enough music for now, lads… looks like there’s dirty work afoot. “

Like Joe said, after the killing of Dr. Tiller, KO has stopped mentioning Orally.

BUT, KO still gets a lot of digs in at Fox. Mostly at Beck’s expense. But to be fair, how could one NOT laugh at or make fun of Beck?
July 13, 2009 at 4:02 pm
I dunno… maybe when you’ve done essentially the same thing you accuse Beck of doing, you’d show a shred of integrity… instead of blatant hypocrisy. But, well… that’s just not KO’s “style.”

Here’s Keith just a few days ago with his:
GLEN BECK MUST BE STOPPED
The feud is still very alive and well.

I never said hostilities had ceased. Just that things seem noticeably less hostile.
