  1. Jansing & Co has continued to evolve into higher levels. Just when I think Chris can’t get any better, she moves it on up the definition of humanity in professionalism. Fantastic to watch.

  2. Can you imagine if John Boehnor won the Presidency? He’d cry through the whole Inaugeration!

  3. — He’d cry through the whole Inauguration! —

    Better him than me…

  4. It would be much better to have politicians show little to no emotion, and act robotic no matter the situation.

    That’s MUCH better………….

  5. I’m just sayin’, kids. I’m a bit of a weeper myself, so don’t take it too hard.

  6. Tissue?

  7. You jack wagon…

  8. I don’t weep except when people die or I think about all of the great guys I left behind in Vietnam (unit had severe incoming mortar rounds the day after I left Vietnam for Germany). Somedays I feel like I should have been there.
Otherwise, I try to think positive, even in depressing moments (learned this skill from my daughters).

  9. Pelosi would weep too if not for all that botox.

  10. ^ Yeah, a little botox is evil. Certainly no one you support has ever had any work done..

  11. ^ Are you saying that Pelosi’s Botox face mask is off limits? A little Botox is fine… but her perpetual look of surprise is a little much.

But even so, it’s just superficial. It doesn’t mean she’s a bad person or bad politician. Her actions are responsible for that opinion.

  12. Blue, I’m bored with it. “Pelosi’s surprised look” was cheesy right-wing fodder half a decade ago. But that’s Mlong’s thing: He rarely contributes anything interesting to a conversation; he just drops in with a weird shot at the left and runs off. Boring.

  13. And I was about to say something testy about Fox-types who’ve been obviously altered, but that would make me a nasty turd as well. More so that usual.

  14. Another thread comes to a grinding halt. Fine..take your cheesy shots and I’ll shut up for a while.

  15. — Hannity on the Clinton/Obama press conference —

‘It was almost an ‘Al Haig’ moment’.
That may be the wittiest thing I’ve ever heard Hannity say. Now watch him beat-it-to-death, and still be saying it in four years.

  16. “Another thread comes to a grinding halt. Fine..take your cheesy shots and I’ll shut up for a while.”

    Then my job is done.

  17. I’m sure that the others did just as well, but I though Fox did a fine job reporting the death of Ambassador Holbrooke. They had ample warning, and put-together a nice 15 minutes. The man had a hell of a resume.

Fred, this has been gnawing at me all day. First, I honor your service for our country in Vietnam. You experienced a special level of Hell most of us cannot imagine. Second, it’s not your fault you shipped out that particular day. I’m sure that decision was not in your hands, and there’s no way you could have known what the next day would bring.

You are a good man who made it home. Many good men did not. That is not your fault. The pages of history were wrtten that way, and because they were..your daughters have a loving father with them now. That is a fact they do not regret.

Thank you for your service, sir.

  19. There’s nothing worse than ‘survivor’s guilt’. Sometimes people will say that God saved them for a reason, a greater purpose, and it always struck me as a flawed way of looking at God’s work. On the other hand, better that than to suffer over living. Can’t imagine God would want that.

  20. I’m surprised no one has mentioned it, so I will. Cavuto destroyed Tingles and it was pretty friggin’ awesome.
