Inside the new Countdown set…

Newscast Studio’s Dak Dillon writes about the new Countdown set…

Debuting tonight, “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” will have a new home on Current TV with a new set by Jack Morton.

The new set uses blues and silvers as the primary colors with a large RP behind the anchor desk. The desk is designed to accommodate Keith plus a guest in studio.

If they hadn’t capitalized ‘Countdown’ would facebook have had grounds for logo infringement?

Looking forward to the review; don’t have access to current. So it’s here I’ll get the information.

Olby used to punch up to O’Reilly. Now, who’s he gonna “punch up” to? Whoever has the HLN timeslot opposite him?

Prediction: His show won’t get many viewers so this time next year media folks who always cheered him & the rest of MSNBC on will begin writing glorifying profiles about how Olby has “carved out” a “niche audience” of “his own” of “smart” “young” “progressives”.

  4. No doubt there will be any number of clips available on other media-sites. That’s pretty much how I watch Jon Stewart.

  5. It’s a nice, shiny new set. But Olbermann has become public enemy number one among the mainstream news media. His arrogant, brash, and divisive attitude is really dumb. He just loves to poke everybody in the eye and trash talk. It’s immature and desperate… he thinks because he’s at a network that nobody watches, he can do whatever he wants without repercussions. I liked him at MSNBC, but now he’s just an annoying fly buzzing in everyone’s ear. Reminds me of the male version of Sarah Palin who constantly begs for attention.
