  1. Always thought TJ was great on CNN..

I’d be interested to know the details on this new contract vs. the one at CNN.

I figured he’d go far in cable or broadcast news. Although maybe he was just tired of pushing cable news? Saw another writeup on deadline hollywood saying something about him pushing opinion or what he thought about things. I didn’t really catch that vibe from the above PR.

  2. Lots of looking forward to!

  3. I’m an award winning commentator. I proudly wear my United Way Pin, Cub Scout Bobcat Pin, and I VOTED TODAY sticker. No way I’m taking a job at BET though. Don’t like their 100% racial profiling policy. TJ will be good though. Guy can grin every time he says the word “Obama”. Basic requirement on BET as it was on CNN.

  4. Racial profiling? It’s Black Entertainment Television. It’s for/about black people!

  5. Should be such an isolating thing in this country.

  6. You don’t see Don Lemon deserting CNN for this narrow minded channel.

  7. You don’t see Don Lemon relegated to the crack of dawn on the weekends indefinitely. I’m sure being passed over for either of the American Morning replacements didn’t give TJ much hope of ever leaving CNN Purgatory.

  8. Actually Don Lemon was already relegated if you think about it. When he first joined CNN he had a M-Fr dayside shift. He wound up on weekends. He may get a second shot given his profile has gone up recently.

  9. missy5537 Says:

Joe, can you get me a job at White Entertainment Televlsion (WET)? BET is showing discrimination against me.

  10. Oh please, we have Black networks and Latino networks and Chinese networks and Korean networks. It’s the way of this country..get over it.

  11. When program on BET is TJ Holmes on? Can anyone furnish a time/day. All I see are shows, sitcoms on BET – is there news?
