  1. Gotta love those Obama folks! And their dogs!

  2. FOX NEWS ALERT: OBAMA BAD!
FOX NEWS ALERT: FAST AND FURIOUS OBAMA BAD!
FOX NEWS ALERT: IRS SCANDAL OBAMA BAD!
FOX NEWS ALERT: BENGHAZI OBAMA BAD!
FOX NEWS ALERT: OBAMACARE OBAMA BAD!

This really is as bad as Ice says it is.

Meanwhile, CNN is nonstop coverage of some trial in Jacksonville.

  3. Do FOX and CNN know that Georgia and South Carolina have been shut down by a historic ice storm?

  4. savefarris Says:

Andy, I assume you’d be okay with a President Jindal unilaterally deciding one day to disband the NLRB. Or revoke tenure from every teacher in the US on a whim.

Because you know, that’s apparently not worth covering …

  5. savefarris Says:

… oh and do the Obama’s REALLY want to reference ‘dog’ and ‘eat’ in the same tweet?

  6. This is where Obama is right, what would FNC do if they did not have Obamacare and the Scandals to cover the majority of every newscast and show? Maybe they would actually cover more news with more reports from FNC reporters?

I agree on the CNN comments. Do they want to be a news channel or Court TV? This trial should be on HLN not CNN.

  7. Even worse, ice… where would you be without FNC to whine about every day? You might have to talk about what the other networks, or *gasp* MSNBC is doing, instead of “hating” on FNC in every post.

  8. Dit and Dot.

Always Fox hating, all the time.

  9. Keep posting day after day about how awful Obama is. That never gets tiring and old.

  10. Apparently some of you have selective reading and missed this,
“I agree on the CNN comments. Do they want to be a news channel or Court TV? This trial should be on HLN not CNN.”

  11. I watched an hour of Happening Now, and am infinitely dumber for it. An endless series of “Obama scandals”, presented in one-on-one interviews with conservative guests. This is not news, and I feel sorry for anyone who gets all their information from that propaganda trainwreck. You wanna know why your conservative friends seem a little paranoid? Fox. News.

  12. Someone could be arrested for murder in Jacksonville and FOX News would go out of their way to link it to Obama, then say the rest of the media’s trying to blame the TEA Party, then say they’re victims of some conspiracy, then double down and blame Obama and all liberals.

  13. I guess his historic “storm of the century” winter storm isn’t important because it’s not going to bury New York.

  14. That’s the trade mark of Megyn’s “news” show. Every night Marc Thiessen is on to bash liberals with no other guest on to discuss or debate his opinion.

I’d expect full coverage from CNN being Atlanta is still their HQ and The Weather Channel is based in Atlanta to.

Wondering if the ice and any subsequent power outages might effect either channel.

  15. I don’t get The Weather Channel. I tried watching WeatherNation for about four minutes and it was absolute crap.

  16. Don’t you have a local channel? Most of us go to ours for local weather. I could care less about other peoples weather for the most part unless I’m planning a trip.

  17. “propaganda trainwreck” is just a phrase that makes little sense in describing the most successful cable news network. Train seems to be running as smoothly as ever regardless of whether a perpetual critic dislikes its cargo.

  18. “I guess his historic “storm of the century” winter storm isn’t important because it’s not going to bury New York.”

“storm of the century” du jour.

  19. Don’t you have a local channel? Most of us go to ours for local weather. I could care less about other peoples weather for the most part unless I’m planning a trip.

    The local channels are horrendous.

  20. It’s official: Andy and joe are totally on board with the next Republican POTUS outlawing abortion via executive fiat and drone-killing the head of the Sierra Club.

Because if you’re POTUS, you can do what you want and news outlets aren’t allowed to report on it.

  21. There’s a difference between reporting the news and making stuff up. FNC is ignoring relevant facts that don’t fit their narrative and are making up their own facts in their place.

  22. Oh, and shouldn’t the President (and the entire media complex) be apologizing to Ted Cruz right about now?

  23. yeah, but don’t look in that direction.

  24. “The local channels are horrendous.”

You could spend a couple bucks and invest in a NOAA weather radio. The National Weather Service ain’t chopped liver.

  25. You could spend a couple bucks and invest in a NOAA weather radio. The National Weather Service ain’t chopped liver.

I know what their forecast is. It’s also wrong.

  26. So you don’t trust any of them, but you want more sources of speculation?

  27. So you don’t trust any of them, but you want more sources of speculation?

The local channels are horrendous as in they’re never on the air. There could be a tornado on the ground in Roanoke and they’d be off air.

NWS Blacksburg was wrong last time, the time before that, the time before that and the time before that. And they’re wrong this time.

  28. How about a nice iPad weather app?

  29. More trial coverage on CNN. Remember when CNN used to be a news channel during dayside?

  30. Even worse HLN is covering the same trial!

Keep posting day after day about how awful Obama is. That never gets tiring and old.

Yeah… instead we should ALL whine day after day about how awful FNC, especially Megyn Kelly. That never gets tiring and old.”

You can’t really be this hypocritical, can you?

  32. Go troll somewhere else.

  33. I’m not sure why you have an obsession on what should and should not be discussed here.

The name of the topic is “Free for All” and the moderator of the blog has not banned commenting on FOX news.

If you checked the recent FFA topics it’s been basically 5 people having a personal conversation about how awful Obama is with little talk about cable news.

  34. Boehner caves on debt ceiling. No token prize and no crisis. I can’t imagine why JB even bothered to say he was going to demand a ransom for raising the debt ceiling in the first place. This was probably the last time there will even be a debate the issue.

  35. “This was probably the last time there will even be a debate the issue.”

Naive. Republicans will let it go until after the fall election. Keeping focus on what will take the Democrats down, ObamaCare. Smart, very smart.

  36. “If you checked the recent FFA topics it’s been basically 5 people having a personal conversation about how awful Obama is with little talk about cable news.”

Andy and I have been talking about the weather. More interesting than your boilerplate FNC critiques.

  37. “NOW with Alex Wagner” should be renamed “All Things Chris Christie hosted by Alex Wagner”. Good grief, that girl is annoying.

  38. Christie is the main story on MSNBC’s talk shows however they are covering other stories.
Lawrence had a good rewrite on the Washington Redskins.
    http://www.msnbc.com/the-last-word/watch/pols-nfl-team-name-a-racial-slur-146566723838

  39. They need to remove the offensive language from that team’s name and get it over with.

    MARYLAND REDSKINS

Washington offends me… especially since that team doesn’t play in Washington and hasn’t played in Washington in a generation anyways.

  40. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

Lawrence had a good rewrite on the Washington Redskins.

Are we starting this crap again? The politicians mentioned are grandstanding. The name, as I have explained over and over, is not racist. However, those on the Left insisting on what we should and should not be able to call ourselves are the true racists.

It’s nice to see that Lawrence O’Donnell is the latest MSNBC host to jump on the racial bandwagon. My advice to him is to clean up your own workplace first, and then mind your own damn business about what other races call themselves.

  41. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

We agree on the Maryland Redskins, Andy. Or, the Raljon Redskins, since technically that is the location of the stadium.

  42. savefarris Says:

Lawrence is just doing his job: talking about ‘Anything But…’.

I agree on the MD Redskins. Ditto the New Jersey Giants.

  43. I always thought the Washington Bullets was appropriate.

  44. Are we starting this crap again?

Yes, people are going to continue to talk about things in the news you don’t want to hear. Try to keep it together. Now go to YouTube and watch Roger Goodell refuse to say the name “Redskins”. It’s pretty funny.

  45. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

Yes, people are going to continue to talk about things in the news you don’t want to hear. Try to keep it together. Now go to YouTube and watch Roger Goodell refuse to say the name “Redskins”. It’s pretty funny.

Joe, I guess you only care if certain “approved” racial groups are offended by being told what and what not to think and call themselves.

“Try to keep it together.” Me thank you white man for giving advice to savage.

  46. Will Bob Costas go on Red Eye?

  47. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

Larry, when I was in the third grade at Ft. Wolters, TX, there was an outbreak of pinkeye. Not fun at all.

  48. I had it as a kid. Mom claimed it was caused by sitting too close to the TV.

  49. People are allowed to discuss Fox News and “Redskins”. I do not CARE who is offended by the presence of these topics. Suck it up.

  50. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

It’s in Spud’s hands now. But thanks for the insults.

  51. Bring it on, buddy. Every time this football team comes up, you go off and start calling people who disagree with you racist. Observe:

The name, as I have explained over and over, is not racist. However, those on the Left insisting on what we should and should not be able to call ourselves are the true racists.

You started it, I’m ending it.

  52. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

Yeah, you’re ending it. If you can’t grasp that the name is a source of pride to a people, my people, it speaks volumes about you and your “racial sensitivity.” You’re Spud’s problem now. I’m through with you and your self-righteous hypocritical type.

  53. I’m not here enough to be “Spud’s problem”. You’re going to stop shouting RACIST every time this topic comes up. Reasonable people find the term unsettling, and you have no right to call those feelings racist. You are out of line.

  54. Nixon - niila niihpikiiookwa meentwasiaani Says:

I’m not here enough to be “Spud’s problem”. You’re going to stop shouting RACIST every time this topic comes up. Reasonable people find the term unsettling, and you have no right to call those feelings racist. You are out of line.

Not reasonable people, ignorant people find it “unsettling.” And your whole tirade has ugly racist overtones. But, I’m out of line? No, far from it. I’ve made Spud aware of your garbage and intend to let him take it from here. I am washing my hands of you and your type.

  55. Joe is hardly the lone problem here.

I post a comment about FNC and the whines come that we should not be talking about FNC.

Joe is not telling people what they should and should not be posting here.

Yes some of the debates may get heated but you guys fire back with the sarcastic comments to.

Is it any wonder there are less and less people posting comments here? They know if it’s anything remotely anti conservative or about FNC they are going to get bashed for their comments.

  56. Not reasonable people, ignorant people find it “unsettling.” And your whole tirade has ugly racist overtones.

Oh, now I’m racist. Really. You realize you’ve told us and Spud numerous times that you’ll stay away from racial issues because you don’t handle them well, right? ProTip: You were right. Stop calling people racist, and find something to talk about which doesn’t set you off like this. You are out of line.

  57. Now go to YouTube and watch Roger Goodell refuse to say the name “Redskins”. It’s pretty funny.

THAT is funny. If you’re going to defend the team name in a press conference and claim the word “Redskin” isn’t offensive, doing everything you can to not say the word does not help your case.

  58. Nothing further to bring on by me.

  59. Dan Snyder offends me. Can the Redskins replace him?

  60. Ok…you’ve all made your points…some more heated than necessary. Move on to something else…

You do know I could always shut down Free for All and enforce strict “on topic” discussion of all the other threads…

  61. The local TV networks here are absolutely useless.

I’ve gotten more information on WROV-FM’s website, which is usually just a snarkathon, than on TV.

  62. Good, back to Andy and he weather. How could you not have a decent local station? Roanoke is a decent size city. That’s one of them isn’t it? Mine is little Steubenville for Pete sake and they have multiple meteorologists on staff with local news and weather on at least six hours a day.

Yes, people are going to continue to talk about things in the news you don’t want to hear. Try to keep it together.

I would like to know what drug or drink it is that removes hypocrisy from one’s consciousness. Apparently you two have plenty in stock.

All day, every day, it’s whining about what FOX should and shouldn’t cover, what is and isn’t appropriate for a news network to talk about… but God forbid someone disagree with you, or say the things you’ve said above… and you get all upset and pouty. Wow. It’s like you don’t read your own comments, or somehow you think you’re above the rules you dictate for everyone else.

And when did the left decide that screaming “racist” and hearing “racist dog whistles” in every other word was inappropriate?

I post a comment about FNC and the whines come that we should not be talking about FNC.

No, we point out that your posts don’t make a lot of sense, that you repeat yourself in every post, and are blatantly hypocritical in how you apply standards.

Joe is not telling people what they should and should not be posting here.

“You’re going to stop shouting RACIST every time this topic comes up.” – Joe

Is it any wonder there are less and less people posting comments here? They know if it’s anything remotely anti conservative or about FNC they are going to get bashed for their comments.

Yeah, heaven forbid that people don’t blindly agree with you. Or perhaps less people are posting here because you spam the site daily with the same rants against FNC and Megyn Kelly.

  64. Really, Blue? This is your contribution after the blog moderator has clearly spoken and resolved the situation hours ago? The show’s over, there’s nothing to see here, you’re talking to yourself.

  65. Pretty sure Spud was specifically talking about the ‘Skins… for which I made no argument directly.

But if you’d prefer, I’ll bookmark my post, so when you guys say the same thing tomorrow, I’ll have it ready to go.

Just defend the hypocrisy. That’s all I want to see.

  66. Pretty sure you’re wrong about what Spud was talking about. I think it highly presumptuous of you to follow what was obviously a Last Word with an extended Q & A with yourself culled from comments posted before said Word was laid down.

You obviously got here late and decided you were above the rules that had been clearly laid down hours ago, including a threat to shut down Free For All and enforce ‘on topic only’ replies to threads. Maybe you should have read it.

  67. At what point did you become the moderator, Joe? Or is this just a prolonged attempt to distract from you undeniable hypocrisy?

And really, after years of your unending assault on anyone who dared to disagree with you, why do you think you’re in any position to dictate what I or anyone else says? Do you think I’ve forgotten? Do you think anyone else has?

Oh, and you’re making it harder for Ice to (lie and) say “Joe is not telling people what they should and should not be posting here.”

  68. I think you don’t understand the phrases “you’ve all made your points” and “move on to something else” – they’re right up there, have a look – and calling people liars only exacerbates the problem. But please continue, sir. I know you will. Goodnight.

  69. How about that Nicole Wallace on MJ today? I have NEVER seen her get that fired up and she blasted Chuck Todd while she was doing it. But, of course, within the first couple of seconds of doing that she realized her folly and promptly walked back her dig on Chuck.

Because we can’t have anyone criticize Chuck Todd can we? He acted like he is the most impartial arbiter of the news and if you watch him he is just a bit more sly about how he takes sides.

If you watch enough news you know the buzz words that “news people” use let consumers know which way the wind blows from their perspective. I can’t even call them journalists anymore.

  70. Ron Fournier on MJ this morning says that he thinks the ACA is a good thing because we needed to supply “50 MILLION” people who did not have insurance the ability to get it.

I thought it was 30 (maybe 40) million without insurance. Are we needing to inflate the number now to make our need for this piece of sh*t legislation look really necessary? And, after all, the CBO says that even after 10 years we will still have 31 MILLION NON-ELDERLY people without insurance.

How is this taking care of the problem?

  71. Blue I’m talking about EVERYTHING in this thread. I’m surprised at you.

Yes…shutting down Free for All is looking more and more like the best option every day. You people have no self-restraint and refuse to rein it in…even though it is really in your self-interest to do so…

  72. Nicole Wallace kinda put it to Chuck Todd this morning.

  73. “Ron Fournier on MJ this morning says that he thinks the ACA is a good thing because we needed to supply “50 MILLION” people who did not have insurance the ability to get it.”

He said the other day he was sick of defending the ACA. Did he find a horse head in his bed since then?

  74. Why is Maddow on right now?

  75. CNN claiming THEY broke the ‘Hillary Papers’ story now. Yes, they think we’re that stupid:

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/02/12/confidants-diary-clinton-wanted-to-keep-records-for-revenge/

  76. Bad move hanging hopes on the pink shoed abortion advocate.

  77. Spud… let’s be honest for a moment…

If you shut down the Free For All pages, you’ll essentially be shutting down ICN. As you recall, I’ve been here since the old days, when you were updating the site multiple times during the day. When ICN 2.0 launched, after you shut ICN, you said you wouldn’t have the time to update as often as you once had… that prediction has come true, so it’s no surprise that things have been so sporadic.

But with that in mind, if you shut the Free For All, what else is there? The handful of articles posted each week isn’t enough to sustain readership. That’s not a blog… that’s a Facebook or Twitter page.

Anyway, if you chose to shut the page, that’s your call. I can’t imagine the work load that goes into maintaining this place, and certainly wouldn’t want to trade places with you… so don’t take this as a criticism of your effort.

But if close the page, I can’t imagine ICN surviving long after. I suppose the question is, what’s the point of shutting the Free For All, if it winds up killing ICN?

  78. “@Drudge_Siren: Nagin Found Guilty of Corruption… http://plu.gd/PGF”

    heckavajob

  79. I wish I could throw on the party hat. But I know come January 19, 2017, someone’s getting a pardon.

  80. The snowstorm coverage is comical. The national media is focused entirely on Boston and New York. The weather updates are like “Yeah, it’s snowing in Charlotte and Atlanta. DC will get some snow.” Then, they talk about Boston endlessly.

Virginia, population 8.186 million, doesn’t exist.

    The NYC-Boston bias is unbearable.

  81. Also, why is it monumental breaking news every time President Obama speaks? I get “protocol” but good grief, there’s no news to come from it. The man delivers 45 minute campaign speeches, every single day. Say what you will about FNC and disrespect, they have it right. Obama’s speeches do not need to be covered, uninterrupted, every single time.

  82. savefarris Says:

  85. “CNN: Republican Bob McDonnell (R-VA), who is a Republican, was indicted today. The former governor, a Republican, was once a rising star in the Republican Party…”

Yeah, and Nagin was the former businessman who was the hope of democrats to clean up the corruption in New Orleans, but let’s not dwell on that.

  86. savefarris Says:

True enough ice, though they wait until the 5th paragraph to tell you.

Again, let’s use the McDonnell comparison: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/54136717/ns/us_news/t/former-va-gov-bob-mcdonnell-wife-indicted/

    The scoreboard:

    Nagin: 1 mention (5th paragraph in a 9-graph story)

McDonnell: 1 mention in 1st sentence.
2 mentons in 7th paragraph (plus a link to Romney which should count as a 3rd)
    1 mention in 10th paragraph
    1 mention in photo caption

Yep, even Steven! Not a “smidgen of evidence” of bias!!!

  87. HOLY CRAP WDBJ7 PRE-EMPTED ANDY GRIFFITH RERUNS FOR SNOWSTORM COVERAGE!!!!

  88. KevinEhsani_TPB Says:

I am no fan of Blue, or his countless efforts to defend ANYTHING Fox News does, and end up blaming it on some kind of blind rationalization (that is somehow the fault of liberals), but he needs to stop his whining while he’s ahead. Calling the bluff of the moderator, and telling them how to run their blog is not too smart. If someone told me how to run my blog, I’d be pissed, too. Nixon isn’t being too rational, either, basically admitting to asking Spud to ban Joe, just because he’s annoying or whatever the reason is. So what are we going to do now… Stop people from practicing their first amendment rights because you disagree? Please.

Can’t we just discuss/debate politics and media in peace? I get annoyed by conservatives as much as the next guy, but fighting over the internet about it is not going to get anybody anywhere. You’ll never convince these Fox News fundamentalists of anything, and the more you call out their BS, the more they feel the need to praise Fox. Sorry if this seems like a lecture, and I’m probably saying what people here already knew, but I’m just going by what I’ve observed.

  89. I need to get me a “Fox News Fundamentalist” shirt.

I mean, it’s weird that conservatives are fans of the only station that doesn’t follow the MSM group think. Whoooda thunk it? And, we’re fans of the only network that every other network despises. Weird.

  90. Well, were just too stupid to know better. I’m probably saying what people already know.

  91. Homework Exercise: In 100 words or less, explain why these two sentences belong together:

    1) Can’t we just discuss/debate politics and media in peace?
    2) You’ll never convince these Fox News fundamentalists of anything, and the more you call out their BS, the more they feel the need to praise Fox.

And why — in the same paragraph — for bonus points.

  92. Nixon won’t be back.

  93. Andy, where is WDBJ7 out of?

  94. Why doesn’t anybody do a re-make of Green Acres?

I never knew this (from Wikipedia) on why it was cancelled (in 1971):

“At the time CBS was under pressure from sponsors to have more urban-themed shows on their schedules. To make room for the newer shows, nearly all of the rural themed shows were cancelled. This part of television has become known as the “rural purge”. Pat Buttram stated of the purge: “CBS cancelled everything with a tree – including Lassie.””

  95. ^Cable related, at least.

  96. savefarris Says:

Why doesn’t anybody do a re-make of Green Acres?

    Duck Dynasty?

If you’re looking for a serious answer, it’s because networks are looking for shows that skew upscale urban youth. Three things that are the exact opposite of Green Acres. (Ditto Mayberry RFD, Lassie, Mr. Ed, Petticoat Junction, et.al.) And the cable nets aren’t going to touch it because they can’t “dark” it up like other reboots (Battlestar).

If Hollywood ever figures out that cheesing off 50% of your audience isn’t a smart business plan, you might start seeing remakes or loving homages of these types of shows. Until then…

  97. Andy, where is WDBJ7 out of?

    Roanoke.

CNN leading with the storm and the crisis in Raleigh and Charlotte. MSNBC leading with Chris Hayes going All In promoting Obama’s agenda. FNC talking about the left attacking Hillary Clinton.

  98. Criticism, not attacking… worded that wrong.

O’Reilly making some great points. Sounds like Hillary’s going to run away from Obama and the left is pre-emptively attacking her in defense of Obama.

  99. CBS storm reporting on the Evening news was excellent.

  100. The people in NC stuck on the road today should have watched the Atlanta reports last week.

  101. You make good points Blue and they are points I have thought about as well. Cable News isn’t what it was when I shut down for two months six years ago. It’s become more ideological and political. Two of the three cable news channels now effectively have staked out demographics on the ideological spectrum and the third seems hell bent on destroying its once pristine news brand with non-news programming.

On the other hand the playing field has leveled considerable. Six years ago ICN was dominated by FNC fans and had one or two full time liberals on it (remember Elmo?).

In the intervening years as MSNBC has staked out the liberal spectrum, more liberals have come to ICN and, from where I’m standing, have upset the apple cart for the other side. They now give as good as they get and there are enough of them that it has flustered the conservative wing. As a result, things have gotten a hell of a lot more heated and, naturally, more personal.

That in itself never bothered me because it could be viewed as a natural progression and a reflection of the current political climate.

But what does bother me…in fact what I find personally insulting is that you all don’t get this crazy on Dollar’s blog. Dollar runs a tight ship, something I have chosen not to do since 2008, so one could argue that I have reaped what I have sewn. But there is another viewpoint…the one I subscribe to…and that is that you all are showing me a hell of a lot of disrespect by not being able to walk the line you are apparently capable of walking on Dollar’s blog. I do consider that a slap in the face. I have trusted you all to show a self restraint that you do show on Dollar’s site and you all have failed miserably in that trust.

It didn’t use to be that way. It used to be I could just step in on occasion to get things back on track and that worked. But the last year or two that hasn’t worked so now I’m forced to start blocking people, something I am loathe to do.

Laura’s gone. Not because of her attacking others but because she stupidly decided to challenge me trying to moderate the situation. Nixon walked last night of his own accord. I have decided that it will be a one way trip.

That leaves Joe and Larry. Joe keeps saying he’s done here but he keeps re-engaging. Larry is Larry…a troll.

Part of me wants to ban the last two main irritants because despite my repeated attempts to steer them on the straight an narrow, they just can’t help themselves. I don’t have the time or energy for children behaving badly.

But as I said I’m loathe to ban anyone. Nobody wins when someone gets banned. ICN loses when someone gets banned. But it is becoming increasinly apparent to me that only banning the worst offenders is going to put a damper on things.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have no issues with FNC or MSNBC fanboys loving their network’s point of view and despising the other side’s. It is when things get personal and people start hurling insults at each other because they despise each other rather than just respectfully disagreeing with each other that I get annoyed. You people say things to each other you would never say to each other in a casual conversation face to face. It is so counterproductive.

So that’s where things are. I’m looking for a way back but I can’t do it alone. You have to learn to be civil with each other. All of you. Otherwise we all lose.

    End of rant.

  102. And there is another reason why activity here has gone down. It’s not just that I’m not posting as much because I don’t want to. That isn’t the reason at all. The reason is there has been a significant drop in the kinds of articles that I would post about. Too many media writers have stopped writing about the media. Less writers = less articles written = less things for me to talk about.

I could opt to post banal crap stories which are little more than PR fed story pitches like TVNewser does but that’s my style. Or I could opt to write about the ideological world of cable news and write about every little ideological thing that transpires like Mediaite does….but that stuff…barring the occasional really egregious exception…just doesn’t interest me.

So that’s the main reason my output has slowed. Remember I was out of work for three years and had plenty of time to post on the blog but there just weren’t the same number of stories out there to post about as there were in the preceeding years. So, even though I had the time to post, there wasn’t as much to post about…so the number of posts dropped despite me having the time.

  103. The people in NC stuck on the road today should have watched the Atlanta reports last week.

In spite of the State of Emergency, businesses in North Carolina refused to close down because the roads would be fine since they were pre-treated. Then, they all shut down after the roads turned in to a pile of suck.

  104. CNN is live for storm coverage instead of the AC360 rebroadcast.
FNC is on tape with Hannity and the top story is more complaining about the NAACP.
MSNBC has Lawrence live from NY for the regular Christie coverage.

As Larry noticed MSNBC did a slight remodel to studio 3K.

  105. Actually Hannity did start with 1 min on the snow storm from Jonathan Serrie in Atlanta. No other storm coverage since his show is taped around 6pm and the forecast would be outdated.

  106. I’m Ok with whatever you do spud. I’ve more or less stopped engaging with the trolls and found that works for me.

  107. I applaud your stance Fritz. If more people followed your lead we wouldn’t be where we are right now.

  108. Well said, Spud.

I look forward to you decision.
