Ronan and Mozart, though admired, are child prodigies unable to avoid the natural resentment.
Ronan Farrow’s second show was a bit better than the first and I can see some promise in the young host. He reads the prompter pretty well for a newbie and he’s starting to show a bit of self-deprecating humor.
The show is still mostly standard dayside fare but, like yesterdays program, there’s just a hint of the show that was promised. Today it was a story on the problems (and possible solutions) with the US food aid program. If more of the program is devoted to this type of story and less on segments like the upcoming Miley Cyrus interview, promoted today, then he could become a really good show. we’ll see.
If Zucker really was looking to use Farrow to attract young people, why a daily 1:00PM show?
Silly Larry: young people don’t have day jobs anymore. Obama took care of that.
