  2. Is Kasie Hunt smart enough to be a reporter?

  3. “Is Kasie Hunt smart enough to be a reporter?”

^^Yes. Rick Perry, not so much.

  4. Dick Cheney will be on MTP on Sunday. Why?

  5. Kasie Hunt would not ask that question of any Democrat and anyone who watches TV knows that.

I would be excited to see you in a debate with Rick Perry, fritz, because I bet you would go down flaming and it would be my pleasure to watch that happen!

When was the last time you were in charge of a budget in the billions?

  6. savefarris Says:

Careful there Fritz: if you want to take away Rick Perry’s credit for the TX Miracle, you’d have no other choice than to give it to … George W. Bush.

    Choose.

I dunno. Ask Diane Feinstein. She’s the one who decided this week’s news cycle would be Torture-ous.

What, you let Feinstein and all her acolytes throw bombs all week and not let the other side respond?

  8. “if you want to take away Rick Perry’s credit for the TX Miracle, you’d have no other choice than to give it to … George W. Bush.”

^^First you’d have to believe there was an actual Texas Miracle (whatever that means) and that the phrase isn’t just some slogan dreamed up by a Republican ad agency. My guess it’s the latter.

  9. “Kasie Hunt would not ask that question of any Democrat and anyone who watches TV knows that.”

^^That’s probably true but there’s a good reason why that’s the case.

“I would be excited to see you in a debate with Rick Perry, fritz, because I bet you would go down flaming and it would be my pleasure to watch that happen!”

^^Maybe. Maybe not. It would depend on whether the debate was on political policies or football. I hear Perry knows his football. 🙂

“When was the last time you were in charge of a budget in the billions?”

^^Being in charge and being competent are two different things. One requires you to get elected (which in Texas is something a cow could do – provided it was a Republican cow). The other requires actual administrative and political skills – which Perry obviously lacks.

  10. Now Katie Hunt is an evil liberal? You ever notice that any reporter not blatantly conservative is immediately labeled a biased liberal? Convenient, eh?

    Meanwhile, here’s something ridiculous.

Ann Richards was the Governor prior to Bush. She’s a Democrat. He unseated her. It was somewhat of a surprise.

“Dick Cheney will be on MTP on Sunday. Why?”

He’s the former Vice President of the United States. He thinks the CIA report put out by the Democrats is crap. Even NBC can see the value of having him on. If you don’t like him, don’t watch. Tune in after to see everybody on Chuck Todd’s MSNBC panel go ballistic and call Cheney a terrorist or something.

  12. “Ann Richards was the Governor prior to Bush. She’s a Democrat. He unseated her. It was somewhat of a surprise.”

^^True but that was some time ago. And demographics being what they are, there will be a time, in the next few decades, when a Democrat will again be Governor of Texas. With the situation as it currently is now I’ll stand by my comment.

“Tune in after to see everybody on Chuck Todd’s MSNBC panel go ballistic and call Cheney a terrorist or something.”

^^Actually half the panel will say that. The other half will say Cheney is a saint. And you can also count on Todd interviewing a Democratic politician with the exact opposite view of Cheney’s. Someone like Dianne Feinstein. It’s why the show is so awful at the moment.

I would much rather see an interview with Richard Engle who has the smartest opinions on the subject that I’ve heard to date. He has legitimate criticisms of all involved; including Democrats in Congress and the administration including the POTUS.

  13. So what you’re saying it’s that Texas is the same as Massachusetts… and Connecticut… and most of New York… and California…

  14. Richard Engel
Of course they’re lying when they say they didn’t know. The fact that this report clams they didn’t know, and that no actionable intelligence came from the interrogation tells you that it’s bullsh|t, on it’s face. Both are nakedly political statements, before one second of reporting is done on it.
It’s not so much that these people make mistakes, it’s that they consistently treat us as though we are stupid.

  15. “^^Actually half the panel will say that. The other half will say Cheney is a saint.”

Bwahahaahahaahahahahaahaha. You’re funny. I’ll bet you any amount of anything that the panel will be 3 or 4 to 1 in support of the anti-Bush view.

  16. Bwahahaahahaahahahahaahaha. You’re funny. I’ll bet you any amount of anything that the panel will be 3 or 4 to 1 in support of the anti-Bush view.”

^^Actually most of the panels I’ve seen on MTP are one right winger one left winger and two MSM reporters or two left and two right wing pundits. That’s the problem with the panels. It should be four MSM reporters like Washington Week on PBS.

I think your thinking of Chris Wallace’s Fox News Sunday show where it’s always three to one.🙂

  17. Romney was right, and for sure can win THIS time! Go for it!

  18. Scarborough can’t pretend those tortures didn’t occur. The issue is with all the ridiculous ‘plausible deniability’ built into it for politicians. The Dems didn’t know, Bush didn’t know, nobody knew. Dick Cheney is all over TV this week asserting that torture is awesome, and everybody knew. As to the latter, on this one matter I agree with Dick Cheney.

  19. Scarborough said exactly what you just said. I won’t ask if you watched the clips..

  20. I read the headline quotes, which sound like Joe is trying to blow off the reports as “I could make anyone a war criminal with $40M” and “Hey, what about those drones!” That sounds diversionary, so I commented on it.

  21. The Dems didn’t know, Bush didn’t know, nobody knew.

Probably closer to the truth would be that torture has been used for decades and presidents truly did not (want to) know about it with the probable exceptions of Presidents George H. W. Bush and Franklin Roosevelt.

  22. Is this true?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep replaying it. Because no who votes ever worked for CitiGroup. Or a bank. Or a company of any kind…

  24. Those poor poor banks. Corporations are people, my friend! Enjoy losing in ’16!
