Storm Coverage: Your Reactions

Post your reactions to tonights storm coverage here. At 11:50pm ET, CNN and MSNBC were both live. FNC was inexplicably airing an O’Reilly repeat…with brief cut-ins.

Both CNN and MSNBC remained live at Midnight EST and FNC, after another cut-in, went to a Kelly File repeat which led with…

…wait for it…

…the storm. Apparently FNC thinks its viewers are best served with three hour old storm coverage with occasional Kelly Wright live cut-ins.

Update at 1am ET: FNC went live with Shep in the Fox News Deck.

I think CNN has been using a fake “snow background” in their coverage. Pretty weak.

^^I can’t really see that happening. The entire east coast is in the middle of a blizzard. Why would you need to use “a fake snow background” – whatever that is. Just point a camera out the window or go out in the street.

  3. This morning, after seeing how little snow NYC got, if you were talking about CNN NY using “fake snow” background, I might believe it.

(I have 2 kids who live in NYC and they have been sending me pictures, this was NOT a “blizzard” in NYC.)

I can not comment about other areas of the northeast.

In Queens we got about a foot of snow. Now, just some flurries.

Big piles of snow around driveways, but not terrible.
