Hayes will be on the ground in the Green Mountain State on the day that Trump descends upon Bernie Sanders’ backyard to learn more about the passionate supporters of each candidate. How are they different? How are they the same? The show will include an interview with Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont local Senator Bernie Sanders and Hayes will take to the streets of Burlington to find out what the voters care about in a candidate.

I just don’t see the point of this road trip. Sanders and Trumps stories, and the demographics of their supporters, are pretty well known. I doubt anything new will be uncovered.
