The Hazards of LiveTV: #25,077

One would think the network with the “Best Political Team on Television” could tell the difference between Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin….not to mention spell Palin’s name right…

Update: Or knew that she ran for VICE-President. How’d I miss that one? This may be the most Hazard riddled screen grab in ICN history. I think three Hazards for one screen grab is a record…

  1. Not just that, but you’d also think they would know that she never officially ran for president.

    So many inaccuracies!

  3. ^ It’s a Hazard within a Hazard!

  4. Wow … you really scored with this post. Maybe the military equivalent of a paper cut. Jeez.

  5. Helloieeeee, you assume it was an accident, liberals will after all be liberals, if they weren’t they wouldn’t be called liberals.

  6. ^ And drunk conservatives will type drunkenly. I’m all for it.

a quack is a qauck..does it matter who the name says it is…

  8. Helloieeeee, you assume it was an accident, liberals will after all be liberals, if they weren’t they wouldn’t be called liberals.

Well, if they’re devoting their nefarious energy on things like this, I think you can focus your worries elsewhere.

    What the heck?

  9. Wow … you really scored with this post. Maybe the military equivalent of a paper cut. Jeez.

Spud can defend himself but the purpose of “Hazards” is to catalogue network errors like this (see the link on the right).

More important, CNN is a billion dollar news organization. One would hope that they’d have better quality control on matters like this. This is pretty amateurish.

  10. Spud can defend himself…

At least Netdog didn’t say “who cares?”..

  11. This probably happened because they were distracted watching FOX in the CNN control room.

  12. Who CAN tell the difference? Boring.

  13. …watching FOX in the CNN control room.

Well, you didn’t expect them to watch CNN, did you?

  14. chucko112 Says:

The update about NASA must be wrong, too. The Chilean miners aren’t Muslims, so helping them is clearly outside of NASA’s sphere of operation.

  15. Someone hasn’t been listening to the Meth PSA’s.

  16. […] ICN: CNN was a big fail when it came to coverage of Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. See why. Very funny. […]

  17. The reason CNN got it so wrong is because they couldn’t see it through their tears.

  18. thinkingdownstream Says:

Actually, they got it right.. in their own minds anyway.

Progressives see everything through a “Sara Palin” (sic) lens and their worst nightmare is that of Sarah Palin becoming President “Sara Palin” (sic).

  19. Above the logo says “LIVE”. Perhaps that’s:
    (BARELY A)LIVE
    CNN

  20. Embarrassing… on top of the fact that they even covered this stupid rally.

  21. Josh Kaib Says:

^What, half a million people on the national mall isn’t news???

  22. ^ I wish someone would decide how many people were there. I’m hearing 100,000 and 500,000.

  23. ^ “A lot of people” is probably as accurate as you can get. Thbe pictures show the crowd all along The Mall as well as off toward the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. They can compare with photos from other events, but then we don’t know if they got those counts right.

  24. mlong5000 Says:

Lets just say there were a hell of a lot more people there then the MSM would like to admit.,,of course the party line will be their just a bunch of White racist……by the way since the race of those at Beck’s rally will be most surly be used against them by KO and others at MSNBC and other networks…what was the overall racial makeup of Al Sharpton’s much smaller rally?….if his rally was made up of just one race dose that make them racist too?

  25. ^ Mlong Standard Tirade # 57. Always a goodie.

  26. Wow … you really scored with this post. Maybe the military equivalent of a paper cut. Jeez.

As stevemg said, I note any Hazard of Live TV that comes my way. I never know which one is going to go viral and which one isn’t. This one definitely has…

  27. Are you calling us contagious?

  28. Some claim to be surprised that FNC largely ignored Sarah Palin’s rally speech even though CNN ran it live. Fox tends to stick to its regular programme schedule and there was no reason this would be different.

    -contagious-

    No, sick.

  29. aardvarkomega Says:

“I think three Hazards for one screen grab is a record… ”

    I dunno…
I saw the 2004 democratic debates on Cable.

  30. Are you calling us contagious?

There are many things I could call y’all…contagious wouldn’t be one of them! 😛

  31. And the CNN box is messed up too. THE LIVE is in the box usally.

  32. mlong5000 Says:

“Mlong Standard Tirade # 57. Always a goodie”

Uh Joe have you seen the coverage today?…that is the MSM party line that because there were mostly whites at the Beck rally that means there racist.

  33. Mlong, you have a storied history of calling everything that is not conservative “MSM”, then making stuff up about what they said. If you have an example of somebody besides some idiot blogger calling the crowd “white and racist”, bring it on.

  34. Tic tic..

  35. Going on 4 hours now, Mlong. Anything? Of course not. All you’ve got is some screeching commentor at DailyKos who I’ll be expected to regard as The MSM.

  36. I’m not sleeping..I’m waiting..

  37. And Glen Beck was wearing a bullet proof vest at his rally. What does this tell you.
What! He doesn’t even believe in his fans!

  38. Ah, ha! Glen Beck exposed! Crying is all artificial!

This may be old news to some, but I just heard of this video this past weekend. Take a look and see for yourself, if you can stand it that is.

  39. A photo shoot in which Glenn Beck is clearly intent on making fun of himself. Before jumping to conclusions check context or, in this instance, just think about a minute.

  40. Anyone who thinks that the wearing of a bulletproof-vest is some-sort-of ‘gotcha’-moment probably isn’t much for ‘thought’ or ‘context’.

  41. A bulletproof vest in front of at least 100,000 people only proves he’s not a complete idiot.

  42. […] News’ couldn’t be trusted to deliver truth.  What’s wrong with this picture?  Via ICN  Sour grapes CNN alloted far more coverage to Al Sharpton than […]
