BLOOMBERG TELEVISION TO PRESENT “INNOVATOR” SERIES

Tomorrow, April 15th, 2010 at 9:00 PM ETBLOOMBERG TELEVISION® will debut the second season of “Innovators,” a special six-part documentary series that profiles the extraordinary and visionary people behind the technologies changing the way we live.

Sponsored by HP, the world’s largest technology company, “Innovators” will air weekly on Bloomberg Television on Thursday and Friday evenings through May 20th. The six episodes will cover advances in sports, medicine, biomimicry, hi-tech defense and weaponry systems, energy and augmented reality.

The first episode of “Innovators,” hosted by Bloomberg Television anchor Matt Miller, profiles new technologies impacting the global business of sports. “Innovators” will go around the world examining high-tech sports stadiums such as New York’s Citi Field, London’s Olympic complex and the new World Cup stadiums in South Africa and Brazil. Additionally, “Innovators” will examine developments in cutting-edge sports broadcasting from Sportsvision, the company behind many innovations in sports media, and go inside the lab of renowned MIT professor Hugh Herr, whose specialized technology for prosthetic limbs aids disabled athletes worldwide.

“Innovators” can be seen on Bloomberg Television on Thursday and Friday evenings from 9:00 -9:30 PM and 11:00-11:30 PM ET.

AC360 EXCLUSIVE – Dr Jack Kevorkian Speaks to Anderson Cooper – Thursday

Tomorrow night on AC360°, Anderson Cooper will interview Dr. Jack Kevorkian, the retired pathologist dubbed “Dr. Death.”

In his first interview since being released prison, Dr. Kevorkian will speak with Cooper about the charges that he had participated in at least 130 assisted suicides, what his 8-year prison term in prison was like, and what is next for him.

Actors Susan Sarandon and John Goodman and “You Don’t Know Jack” director Barry Levinson will be joining the discussion with Cooper and Kevorkian.

  1. Kevorkian is a creepy man. I’m convinced at least two of his victims suffered from a treatable clinical depression common to their underlying diseases. Entirely aside from the somewhat legitimate euthanasia debate, Jack is basically a serial killer.
